1983 Cadillac Seville "slantback", Great Solid Clean Driver, Full Cabriolet Roof on 2040-cars
Willoughby, Ohio, United States
This is a NO RESERVE listing. This car was part of the collection of a local car collector who has recently passed away. He kept about 20 specialty cars in a warehouse as his collection. This Seville was always garaged and not driven in snow or bad weather. This Seville runs and drives very nicely and it is a comfortable, clean and solid driver. This Seville has the following equipment and options:
This is a clean, nice-condition vintage Seville. The exterior and body are clean and in very presentable condition. The paint is nice with a good gloss remaining and no major defects. The car looks very good overall. The interior of this car is very good- the leather seats are in excellent condition and the carpets and upholstery are clean and very nice. This interior is probably the best feature of the car- it is very clean and looks great. This car starts, runs and drives very well. Recent service includes an oil change, radiator fluid exchange, brake service and new starter. This car is smooth, powerful and drives very nicely. The tires have good tread. This car doesn't have any known mechanical problems. This is a fun old car and a nice driver- a great old classic you can enjoy the way it is. The engine is strong and powerful, the transmission shifts well, the brakes stop well and the ride is smooth. The power trunk release and pull-down works, the original factory radio works great, the power locks and windows are working, the driver's seat forward/backward plus up/down controls work and the cruise control works. This is a 1983 car and as such it is not brand new. This is not a restored car nor a Pebble Beach concours vehicle. It is sold as-is with no guarantee. I see no reason the car couldn't make your drive home but I stress that I can't guarantee against breakdowns. Here is a complete list of every known defect in the car: There is a small ding toward the bottom of the right front door. The front grille and left headlight surround are cracked. The rubber door weatherstripping is a bit worn. The air conditioning is fully intact and present, but it is not blowing cold. The title mileage reads as non-actual. The passenger power seat controls do not work and the driver's seat tilt functions do not appear to work either. There is a slight exhaust leak (not particularly loud). There are small, normal and expected nicks, faults and flaws here and there throughout the exterior. The rear bumper fillers have been repaired but it isn't a perfect job. There is some minor surface rust, for example inside the door jambs. The power antenna always stays up. That's it- that is every known fault or flaw. I feel confident in the overall good condition and driveability of this car. For a shipping quote, please contact Angels Moving Autos at 530-245-0481. Consumer Reports loves the 2014 Cadillac CTS
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out. Scroll down to watch the CTS get put through its paces.

Cadillac to launch Super Cruise semi-autonomous technology in two years [w/video]
Sun, 07 Sep 2014We all know that self-driving cars are coming. It's not so much a question of If so much as When. And when it comes to General Motors products, we now have something of a date to work with, as Cadillac has announced plans to roll out what it is calling Super Cruise technology in an unnamed new model within the next two years. As you would expect, this new tech can speed the car up, slow it down and keep it in its intended lane, but GM isn't expected to release a fully self-driving car, saying that it will still require "an attentive driver."
We're not quite sure what new model Cadillac will use to launch this new technology, but our best guess would be its upcoming LTS sedan. Other possibilities may include a new crossover - we've heard rumors of CUVS coming from Caddy both above and below the current SRX - or entry-level sedan, but those seem less likely than a high-dollar flagship like the LTS.
The next techy bit of kit currently being shown off by Cadillac engineers includes vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, technology which would seemingly allow cars to travel in close proximity to one another, with less danger of collisions. According to our friends at Engadget, GM is working with the University of Michigan to outfit some 120 miles of roads in and around Detroit, MI, with the requisite sensors to make all this technology possible.
