VERY. VERY rare 1982 Cadillac "Seville 10" built by Moloney Coachworks. This was a top-of-the-line Seville professionally stretched 10 inches. Body is painted dark green over black and has a full vinyl top as shown.

Moving, and cannot take with. Asking $1795 or best offer. Clear title in hand,

Car has many optional features including moonroof and two drop-down real walnut desks behind the front seats. This car was originally purchased by and registered to the owner of the Snuggery restaurant chain in the Chicago area. This vehicle has never been in livery service, but always registered as a personal vehicle. Has been passed down to two additional collector car hobbyists. Car has been in dry storage for six years. Started and driven occasionally. Purrs like a kitten!

Very cool and unique survivor. Does run and drive very well! All electrical components work!  New battery.

This is a 31 year old special car that that has a lot of old school and custom charm. But, as most older Cadillacs of the era, it will need some of the plastic bumper filler parts repaired or replaced. Additionally, there is wear on the driver's side door panel as is also typical. And, yes, there is some surface rust in a few spots. Not claiming to be perfect or museum quality.  However, this rare car still has a lot of class!

Lots of service records to show that unique vehicle was very well taken care of, including documentation that the engine was rebuilt at Hanley Dawson Cadillac in Chicago as part of a Cadillac recall.

Don't pass up this opportunity to own a really cool rare car.

Would recommend that car be towed, but will drive up on ramps.

Lansing builds its millionth Cadillac

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

Cadillacs are built at plants across North America. The Escalade is assembled in Texas, the SRX in Mexico and the XTS in Ontario. But the bulk of Cadillac's lineup - or the smaller members of the family, at least - are built in Michigan. And while the upcoming ELR will be built alongside the Chevy Volt at the Detroit/Hamtramck facility (which incidentally opened with the Cadillac Eldorado back in '86), the majority of those Cadillacs built in Michigan are handled by the Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant.
In fact, Lansing Grand River just celebrated its millionth Cadillac built. The landmark millionth vehicle is a new 2014 CTS sedan in Red Obsession Tintcoat. The facility opened in 2001 and has built Cadillacs almost exclusively since then, assembling the CTS and ATS model lines, though in a couple of years it will also handle production of the Chevy Camaro.

Cadillac may not build Elmiraj coupe

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Despite the fact that most everyone who has laid eyes on the Cadillac Elmiraj concept coupe loves it, General Motors insiders are still trying to prove the business case to build the car. And it's certainly not a guarantee.
"I want to see this car go into production badly. Very badly," Ed Welburn, GM's Global Head of Design, told Autoblog. But the Cadillac design studio is busier than it's ever been before, and the company is working on prioritizing which cars deserve to get the billion-dollar price tag needed to research and develop a new model.
No matter what happens, Welburn says the car has made its mark on Cadillac

Cadillac launching crossover-heavy product offensive

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Utilizing information provided by Cadillac suppliers, Reuters says that Cadillac is preparing two more crossovers that will bow after its current product initiative is complete. According to the report, a year after the next SRX arrives in 2016, a pair of CUVs will be unveiled that will bracket it in size, and they'll be headed for the US and Chinese markets.
That is years away, though. For now, the company's attentions are on the nearly here CTS and ELR range-extended coupe, the next Escalade SUV (shown above), an ATS coupe, and the range-topper that will sit above the XTS. That, and possibly an even more impressive range-topper that promises to be the mean and majestic super-luxe unicorn Cadillac we've been dreaming about for more than a decade now.
In response to the issue of how German crossovers might be having an impact on Cadillac's future plans, a company source said - rightly, we think - "we don't need to duplicate the Germans." That doesn't mean, however, that it can't wade deeper into a market segment that the Germans are making a ton of money in. In fact, and since everyone is doing it, we'd be surprised if Cadillac didn't, even if it won't happen for another four years.
