2010 Cadillac Srx Luxury Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Laurie, Missouri, United States
THIS IS A GREAT VEHICLE. EXCELLENT SHAPE. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. I PUT NEW COOPER TIRES ON IT LAST JULY. THEY HAVE MAYBE 5,500 MILES ON THEM. A COUPLE ROCK CHIPS HERE AND THERE, BUT NOTHING WORTH WORRYING ABOUT.... THAT'S JUST THE NATURE OF DRIVING. THE LEATHER IS IN GREAT SHAPE. NO SMELLS OR UNWANTED AROMAS. NEVER SMOKED IN. IT HAS WEATHER TECH FLOOR MATS THROUGHOUT. FRONT, MIDDLE AND REAR... THE REASON I'M SELLING IS ... I BOUGHT A CAMP TRAILER AND IT IS A LITTLE MUCH FOR THE CADILLAC. IT TOWES THE TRAILER, BUT TO ME, IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS STRUGGLING A LITTLE TOO MUCH. IT WILL TOW 2000 LBS. SAFELY, BUT THE CAMPER WEIGHS CLOSER TO 3,000 LBS. LOVE THE CADDY, BUT I NEED A TRUCK. I'M A MOTIVATED SELLER AND WILL ENTERTAIN ALL REASONABLE OFFERS. THE RESERVE IS SET LOW, SO... IT GOES TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. IT DOES HAVE THE REMAINDER OF THE FACTORY POWERTRAIN AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WARRANTIES. I THINK THEY ARE 5 YEARS/100,000 MILES. SO.... YOU HAVE 12-13 MONTHS AND OVER 60,000 MILES REMAINING. P.S. I JUST BOUGHT THE CAMPER LAST WEEK, SO, I HAVEN'T TOWED IT MUCH. IT'S PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY WAITING FOR A TRUCK. AS YOU CAN SEE THE WEATHER AROUND HERE ISN'T CONDUSIVE TO CAMPING ANYWAY. |

Watch the 2014 Cadillac CTS get its groove on in the rain
Sun, 31 Mar 2013In case you haven't got enough of the 2014 Cadillac CTS that just debuted at the New York Auto Show, Cadillac has let us have some rolling footage of the car around its test track along with a few words from VP of marketing Don Butler and executive director of design Mark Adams.
You won't learn much more about its 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 but you can hear how it growls in the rain, and you can get a better idea of how you'll look in the driver's seat giving it a workout. That's got to be worth something, right? You'll find both videos just below.
GM to build $1.3 billion Cadillac plant in China
Wed, 08 May 2013General Motors has gotten approval to build a $1.3 billion manufacturing facility for its Cadillac brand in China. China's National Development and Reform Commission signed off on plans for GM to build the plant in the country's Shanghai's Jinqiao zone; construction is expected to begin in June of this year. According to a Bloomberg report, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units.
No surprise here, but Cadillac would like to sell a lot more cars in the plush Chinese luxury market. The brand moved only 30,010 cars in China last year, compared with 400k for Audi, and about 330k for BMW. With Cadillac already telling us that it would be moving production of its XTS sedan to China - a production decision that saves having to pay 25-percent import tariffs - approval of the factory is a critical win for the company.
In fact, according to earlier comments by GM China president Bob Socia, it's at least conceivable that Chinese-built Cadillacs could be shipped back to the US for sale. The brave new world of globalization, getting stranger by the minute.
Cadillac could 'flourish' in Australia, says marketing chief
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Cadillac might have its best product mix in recent history, and GM's luxury brand is looking to expand. In fact, it might even be making a trip Down Under, at least according to the company's global marketing chief.
Uwe Ellinghaus spoke with Australian site Car Advice at the Geneva Motor Show and said the brand could be quite successful there. "[The] goodwill that the Cadillac brand has is such a good starting base that once we get proper volume commitment and a dealer network behind it we can easily flourish," he said, though he warned that the plans are still in their earliest stages and years away. First, Cadillac will expand in markets with the highest possible sales, like China and Russia.
Ellinghaus said that the most likely models for Oz would be the SRX, Escalade and CTS; the latter would probably act as a replacement for the Holden Commodore. GM's Australian arm is ending local production in 2017, and there have been many rumors about what is happening to the big sedan. However, Ellinghaus admits exporting cars from the US to Australia is going to mean higher prices. In addition to the expense, Cadillac doesn't currently build any right-hand-drive models. It would likely take until the end of the decade before the Aussie models could be ready.
