Unbelievably Nice! Low Low Miles. Priced To Sell. Low Reserve on 2040-cars
Melbourne, Florida, United States
If you’re a collector, nostalgic or
looking for a unique daily driver, you’re looking at the right car. Recently driven
across country I can say, “What a ride!” This car has a fantastic ride, it’s comfortable,
reliable and noticeable. Many compliments on the preservation of this true
American Flagship. This Brougham comes with all the
features you would expect such as power windows, locks, automatic climate
control, automatic lights, intermittent wipers, tilt and telescopic steering
wheel, am/fm cassette, chrome and more chrome. This Cadillac was recently serviced and inspected and passed with ease. All the rubber is thick, the a/c is ice cold, the paint is shiny, and the carpet is clean along with the velour seats. There isn’t a mark on the vinyl top and the body is straight. As with any 26-year old car you should anticipate marks, scratches, dimples or other imperfection. However, with this one, you'll need to look long and hard to find them. See our 24 pictures and judge for yourself. All switches work as designed,
the engine runs strong, is powerful and gets reasonably good gas mileage along with a transmission that operates smoothly. The radio is loud and clear, and the cassette player
works. This is simply a great car priced at a fraction of new, which obviously
there are no true comparisons. We offer a drive train warranty free for 1000 miles or
30-days to a retail buyer. At any time during this auction feel free to call
and ask any additional questions or feel free to make an offer. We have made our best attempt to represent
this vehicle accurately. We are a licensed Florida Dealer and our eBay rating
as well as our local reputation is very important to us. With this in mind, bid
with confidence that we are here to build relationships and sell vehicles. In
this same regard, please bid responsibly and remember this is a contract to
purchase and eBay charges us for ads and so on. If you are a Florida resident
and not a dealer we will need to collect sales tax. If you reside outside
Florida and pick this vehicle up, we will need to collect sales tax. If you
reside out of Florida and have this vehicle shipped to you, no sales tax.
Also, we charge a dealer fee of $399.00 that is not included in your
final bid price or the accepted offer.
Again, this vehicle has a 1 month, 1,000 mile limited power train
warranty to a retail buyer. A retail buyer described as anyone buyer other than
a dealer. If you have any questions, please
don't hesitate to call me at 321-499-3945, International House of Cars, 1380
West New Haven Avenue, West Melbourne, Florida 32904 www.ihouseofcars.com. This Vehicle is listed
locally. Therefore we may end auction early. Mileage may vary a few

GM announces 6 recalls covering nearly 720k cars
Wed, 23 Jul 2014General Motors has announced yet another sprawling recall campaign, with six separate elements covering 717,950 vehicles on US roads. At this point in 2014, it's starting to seem like there are more days with a GM recall than without. Perhaps most troubling about this latest volley, though, is that every vehicle is from the past few years, indicating that GM's quality woes may not be limited to pre-bankruptcy vehicles.
The largest element of this latest campaign covers 414,333 units, and includes the 2011 to 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, 2010 to 2012 Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain and Cadillac SRX and the 2011 to 2012 Buick Regal and LaCrosse. Only vehicles with powered, height-adjustable seats are covered. In these particular cars and crossovers, the bolt that secures the height adjuster actuator may loosen of its own accord and in some cases fall out completely. If this happens, the seats will be able to move both up and down. GM claims the vehicles are safe to drive, provided drivers don't vertically adjust their seats. This particular issue has caused one crash and three injuries.

2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 AWD
Wed, 27 Feb 2013All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
GM winding down Chevrolet brand in Europe
Thu, 05 Dec 2013If you've taken even a cursory look at GM's European strategy and wondered how it can target the market there with both Chevrolet and Opel/Vauxhall, you're not alone. In fact General Motors itself has found it difficult to justify the two-pronged approach. That's why it's essentially pulling Chevy from the European marketplace.
Instead of trying to ply European buyers with what are mostly former Daewoo products rebadged as Chevys, GM will now let Opel (or Vauxhall in the UK) represent its mass-market aspirations. Chevrolet will keep its presence in Russia and other former Soviet markets, and will continue selling certain niche products in Eastern and Western Europe. The Corvette, for example, has long been sold in Europe through Cadillac dealerships, which for its part is currently "finalizing plans for expanding in the European market".
While the shift in strategy is expected to help GM get a stronger foothold in the European market in the long run, in the short term the restructuring will cost it dearly: between $700 million and $1 billion, according to its own estimates, split between the last quarter of this year and the first half of the next.
