LANDUA PANELS HAVING DRIVEN ONLY 84,000 MILES SINCE
THIS COACH WAS RECENTLY TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE AFTER CURRENT SELLER PURCHASED FROM 2ND OWNER WHICH WAS A FUNERAL HOME IN NORTH GEORGIA THAT ONLY USES CLASSIC COACHES IN THEIR SERVICE FLEET.
THIS BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING EXAMPLE OF A SUPERIOR COMBINATION COACH RUNS AND DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE COACH FEATURES THE VERSATILE AND EASILY REMOVED LANDUA PANELS TO SWITCH BACK AND FORTH FROM A CLASSIC AND ELEGANT LANDAU PANEL HEARSE APPEARANCE TO THE SLEEK AND ATTRACTIVE LIMOUSINE WINDOW STYLE FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE OR MAY BE USED TO HAVE FULL VIEW OF THE CASKET.
AFTER PURCHASING THE COACH THE CURRENT OWNER HAS HAD THE CAR SERVICED. THIS COACH COULD BE PUT BACK INTO SERVICE AND USED WITH PRIDE.
THE DEMOUNTABLE FOUR BULB BEACON RAY HAS BEEN REFURBISHED BY A WELL KNOWN LIGHT DEALER. THE BEACON RAY FEATURES THE DEMOUNTABLE BASE THAT CAN BE QUICKLY INSTALLED/DEMOUNTED FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE.
THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES CONCERNING THE QUALITY AND CONDITION OF THIS COACH.
THE COACH WAS USED BY AN ATLANTA GEORGIA FIRM UNTIL IT WAS TRADED IN DURING THE MID 70'S AND THEN PURCHASED BY THE 2ND FUNERAL HOME WHO USED IT UNTIL 2012.
THE COACH FEATURES COLD A/C. THE ORIGINAL REAR HEATER LINES WERE DISCONNECTED YEARS AGO BY PREVIOUS OWNER BUT ALL CONNECTIONS ARE STILL THERE AND CAN BE RECONNECTED.
SO LET'S ANSWER THE KEY QUESTION - "WHY AM I SELLING IT?" SIMPLE ANSWER 22 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER'S BOYFRIEND MET ME FOR LUNCH AND ASKED "MAY I HAVE YOUR BLESSING TO MARRY YOUR DAUGHTER?" AFTER AN INTERROGATION THE ANSWER WAS "YES".
GET THE PICTURE??
I AM NOT A DEALER. I AM AN AVID CADILLAC/LINCOLN COLLECTOR THAT NOW HAS TO LET GO OF THREE CARS - 1977 LINCOLN TOWN CAR, 1988 MERCEDES 420 SEL AND YES, THIS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING COACH - AMBULANCE TO PAY FOR A WEDDING. I'D RATHER KEEP THE WIFE AND DAUGHTER HAPPY THAN KEEP THE CARS!!
MY INTENTIONS WERE TO FIT THE COACH WITH A FEDERAL PA 20 SIREN AND REMOVABLE REAR WINDOW AMBULANCE SIGNS BUT BASED ON THE WIFE AND DAUGHTER'S WEDDING PLANNING ITS JUST NOT GONNA HAPPEN FOR ME.
THEREFORE.....THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A RARE AND DESIRABLE PIECE OF FUNERAL HOME ERA HISTORY. AS YOU ARE PROBABLY AWARE THIS COACH WOULD HAVE BEEN USED AS AN AMBULANCE BEFORE THE DAYS OF MODERN EMS UNITS AND WOULD OFTEN BE SEEN BLAZING THROUGH TRAFFIC IN TOWNS ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA.
THE REASON THIS CAR CAUGHT MY ATTENTION IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT IN APRIL OF 1973 AT THE AGE OF TEN I WATCHED MY GRANDFATHER BE LOADED INTO A COMBINATION AMBULANCE EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE WHILE HAVING A HEART ATTACK. ONE OF THOSE EXPERIENCES YOU NEVER FORGET!!!
THE COACH IS SOLD AS/IS WHERE IS WITH NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF END OF AUCTION. THOSE EBAYERS WITH NO OR NEGATIVE HISTORY PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS COACH WITHOUT CONTACTING OWNER FIRST. THIS IS A LEGITIMATE LEGALLY BINDING AUCTION AND PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE AND PREPARED TO PAY THE PRICE YOU BID. THERE ARE NO TEST DRIVES ETC AFTER AUCTION ENDS. THE COACH IS IN MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA 25 MILES SOUTH OF ATLANTA HARTSFIELD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. IT WAS RECENTLY DRIVEN 250 MILES WITH NO PROBLEMS. FLY IN AND DRIVE HER HOME
AS YOU CAN TELL FROM MY EBAY FEEDBACK HISTORY I'VE NEVER HAD ANYTHING BUT GOOD EXPERIENCES ON EBAY AND WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. THE "BUY IT NOW" OPTION IS JUST THAT - THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY IT NOW. ONCE THE RESERVE IS MET THE BUY IT NOW OPTION GOES AWAY AND THE FINAL BIDDER OWNS THE COACH. TRANSPORTATION EXPENSE AND ALL DETAILS CONCERNING SAID ARE TO BE BORNE BUY THE PURCHASER.
PLEASE NOTE: THE BLACK CADILLAC MATS THAT ARE IN FRONT COMPARTMENT PHOTOS DO NOT GO WITH THE COACH. THEY ARE FOR ANOTHER CAR I OWN.

A few years ago, Audi Of America's boss Johan de Nysschen went on record describing the Chevrolet Volt as "a car for idiots." Fast-forward to earlier this summer, and the well-regarded executive suddenly found himself in a new office with new business cards bearing the title: President, Cadillac. That means that among other challenges, de Nysschen is now tasked with selling the ELR, a car that is, at its core, a Volt in a sportier, less utile frock wearing a price tag that's twice as expensive.
Frankly, it's not a prospect we imagine the South African executive and recent Infiniti boss relishes. Just about nobody is buying the ELR - Cadillac has sold but 774 examples of its plug-in hybrid coupe this year and it presently has an almost a 200-day supply according to Automotive News. What's more, those numbers actually represent big improvements over just a few months ago, before GM started heaping on the incentives. The cynic in us says that the bad news for De Nysschen is that he's got a borderline sales-proof car in his new corporate garage. The good news? Cadillac customers apparently aren't idiots.
One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.

Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.
Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out. Scroll down to watch the CTS get put through its paces.
