1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Four Door - White in Color with a White Carriage Roof and Tan Supple Leather interior - Powered by the Desirable 350 Cu Inch V-8 LT-1 Motor - It has a full compliment of Power Equipment, Dual Front Airbags, Auto Headlights, Rear AC, Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control and More! Only 101,000 miles on this exceptionally nice clean quality car!

The last true Cadillac. One of the greatest highway cruisers ever built. The car rides like a dream. People always comment on how smooth and quiet it is compared to new cars, even new Cadillacs. The large amount of leather, cloth, carpeting, and metal (yes metal) used to build the cabin of the car makes it extremely well insulated from road noise.

The self-leveling rear suspension is great for the car's appeal. There is nothing more unappealing than seeing a car loaded down and dragging its ass along the road; you don't have that problem with this car.

The double bench interior is also fantastic. No need for buckets and wasted space in a car meant for highways. Plus they make two beds or one large one if you manipulate the front just right. Absolutely comfortable. One can easily drive all day in these seats or be a passenger all day. That is one thing that car companies suck at today, a comfortable back seat.

Performance wise, this car moves for its size. Plenty or torque to handle 5 passengers and a loaded trunk. You will never find yourself begging the car to make it up a mountain road without ease. Gas mileage is also fantastic. Take the car on the highway at 75 with the AC on and 25mpg is no problem. For best gas mileage, I drive with windows down around town and AC only on the highway.

My one gripe about the car is the automatic climate control. I just wish I had more manual control over the fan speed and zoning of the climate (ie feet only). But besides that, the system itself is overkill, but in a good way.

Ergonomically, everything is comfortably placed. The car is a blast to drive and easy at that. The huge wheelbase is what makes the car. Slight jerks in the steering will not affect the tracking of the car like they would in a smaller wheel-based one. The car tracks straight as an arrow on the open road. Additionally, all the cigarette lighters and vanity mirrors make it a great car for smoking 'cigars'. And to top it off, the car has one hell of a stock sound system, especially for 1995.

The one thing that you will need to maintain constantly is the dash pad. Its just huge and if you do not keep it moisturized, it will crack.

All in all then, this car does everything well that it was designed to do, plain and simple. Compare it to other cars of its size and purpose and you will find that this car stands on top, and you will feel that way when you drive it.

If GM wants its rep back, they need to start building cars like these again and ignore profits. Build quality once again, because that is exactly what this piece of mechanical engineering is and forever will be.

SRX-replacing Cadillac XT5 spied for the very first time

Thu, 30 Oct 2014

Cadillac has got big plans in place to revitalize its lineup, with new sedans, coupes and crossovers. And it all starts with this, the replacement for the SRX.
Expected to be called XT5 in line with the brand's new naming scheme, the crossover will be based on a scalable new platform called C1XX - or Chi, for short. In its shorter form, Chi is anticipated to underpin the XT5 as well as a new Chevy crossover and the next-gen GMC Acadia. In long-wheelbase form, the platform is slated to give us a larger Cadillac crossover as well as a new Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
Power in the XT5 will be provided by a choice of turbo four or atmospheric six, potentially to be transmitted through GM's new nine-speed automatic.

2015 Cadillac ATS sedan gets early reveal in making-of video

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Cadillac is apparently preparing to roll out a minor facelift for the ATS sedan - which we know not because General Motors has already revealed it or because we're looking at it in a fresh batch of spy shots (though we've seen that too), but because a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of its commercial has leaked out online. Which may be bad news for Cadillac, and even worse news for the film production company, but good news for us, because we get to see it ahead of schedule.
The revised sports sedan seems to be sporting a new front bumper and less egg-cratey grille with Caddy's new wreath-less badge at its center, all apparently put in place to bring the sedan more in line with the new ATS coupe.
We're sure Cadillac will be revealing the updated 2015 ATS sedan shortly, but you can scope it out right now in the video below. By way of comparison, we've included an image gallery of the current ATS, released back in 2013, as well.

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
