1951 Cadillac Fleetwood 62 Series. This car was running when parked 3 years ago. Reason for selling is no time and lack of funds needed to restore properly and don't want to see it continue to sit. The vehicle is not currently running and am selling this car as is where is. As you will see in the photos this car is complete and the trunk has many extra parts. Everything is there and the interior is in very good condition for the age of the car. The body has surface rust but overall solid. Glass is in good condition. The driver's side is covered in the photos as the window is not all the way up, the hydraulic system for the windows and seats needs repair. Exhaust system was brand new when parked. Shipping is not included but I can be available when arrangements are made. The car is currently in the Myrtle Beach area.

Carpool Deville aims to be the world's fastest hot tub
Wed, 16 Jul 2014The world needs crazy inventors with wild dreams. While we might not long for the things that they create, their contraptions certainly make the day a little more enjoyable. Take the Carpool Deville as an example. Nobody (well, almost nobody) is asking for a hot tub fashioned from a 1969 Cadillac that is still drivable. But now that you know that such a beast exists, don't try to tell us you aren't at least intrigued.
The team behind the six-year-long project has a pretty ingenious setup worked out. The Caddy's original 472-cubic-inch (7.7-liter) V8 both provides propulsion and heats the water. The interior is entirely replaced with a watertight, fiberglass tub that includes working jets, and the controls are all done by hand.
As if just building a mobile hot tub isn't enough, the team behind the Carpool Deville plans to take it racing too. Specifically, they intend to go to the Bonneville Salt Flats later this year to make a top speed run while immersed in water at over 100 degrees. They even have a roll cage all set to install to meet the safety requirements there.
Cadillac CT6 ushers in new naming convention
Wed, 24 Sep 2014Johan de Nysschen has been at his new post as president of Cadillac for not even three months , but he's already seen two of his most notable accomplishments from his two-year tenure as president of Infiniti matched by Cadillac. The brand has announced that it is relocating its headquarters, and is now officially changing its nomenclature.
The brand's new flagship model will abandon the familiar three-letter designation enjoyed by every other model in the range (aside from the Escalade), and adopt an alpha-numeric title. So, rather than the expected title of LTS, Cadillac's top-end car will be called the CT6.
Of course, this won't be limited to just one model. According to Cadillac's press release, "familiar lettering like 'CT' would be used for car models, with the number indicating the relative size and position of the cars in the hierarchy of Cadillac models." And yes, that means what you think it means - Cadillac will use the exact same naming formula, albeit with different letters, as Infiniti.
GM's Reuss explains why Cadillac is heading to New York
Tue, 23 Sep 2014
"We're going to take it to a place [New York] to change the way that we do business around the brand of Cadillac." - Mark Reuss
General Motors product chief Mark Reuss elaborated Tuesday on Cadillac's move to New York in 2015, saying it will "elevate" the brand and allow it to reach new customers.
