I am selling my 1960 Cadillac coupe deville I built. It started off with 39000 original miles on car but had been sitting for yrs, the original 390 eng was froze up so out it came.  I was looking for millage and power in one so decided to install a dodge cummins turbo diesel with a auto tranny. the eng has 214,000 miles on it, I built the injection pump with all the goodies and installed new 75 hp injectors, adjusted the valves, installed new valve cover gaskets. I had the tranny rebuilt with all new parts, new converter and new shift kit.I get an average of 30 mpg at 75 and if I stay at 68 I get 33 mpg.  I had to modify most everything under the hood to get the cummins in place, I had to cut 3 inches from the oil pan, make solid motor mounts, and tranny mounts as the tollerances were very tight between the starter and power steering box but she fit. installed a new aluminum radiator and black magic fan, runs under 180 on the hottest days. installed new disk brakes,  and now for the color. this thing is amazing, it was an experiment and turned out great. the body is not perfect, didn't want it perfect. she looks bad ass and always gets tons of looks. all the electric windows work and the 6 way electric seat works. none of the factory gauges work, I have all aftermarket gauges and they all work. it rides on 20 inch wheels and tires, drives like a dream and rides like a caddy. just needs interior finished I would consider part trades for ? but need mostly cash for my 34 dodge panel build. any questions call 509-520-9713 and I have all the paperwork for the build and a clean clear title for it.

I have all the interior parts for the car they just need to be reupholstered .

Cadillac rushing update for laggy CUE infotainment system

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

BMW's innovative iDrive was introduced in 2001, and a dozen years later, automakers are still learning hard lessons about what consumers want in their infotainment systems. In response to owner feedback - and a few media drubbings - about the delayed and occasionally fickle responses of its CUE (short for Cadillac User Experience) system, Cadillac has told Wired that it's going to issue an update this year.
Coming for the XTS and ATS, the new software will mean quicker haptic feedback to driver inputs on the touchscreen and the buttons, and snappier responses on screen. Down the road, Cadillac's VP of marketing says that a different mix of screen controls and hard buttons is "something you'll be seeing in the future" - the system is presently a mix of touchscreen-based controls and capacitive-touch switchgear - there are no knobs or physical pushbuttons to speak of, and the omission of both has proven to be a divisive issue among consumers and industry pundits.
Cadillac hasn't provided a date for when the CUE update will be issued, but it has indicated that the service will be performed by dealers, not sent wirelessly.

2015 Cadillac Escalade configurator lets you bling it your way

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

It's Friday, so there must be a new configurator to play with. While last week we showed you how to build your own McLaren 650S, today's ride is a bit more common. It's the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, a vehicle that you've been able to colorize since the end of last year, and which is sure to be an increasingly common sight on US roads in the coming months.
For those that have played with the build-your-Caddy tool, there's not much new here, aside from the vehicle being configured. The Escalade is available in three trims and two wheelbases, with prices spanning from the SWB, two-wheel-drive Standard, which starts at $72,690, on to the all-wheel-drive, long-wheelbase ESV Premium, which kicks off at $86,790. The options list, meanwhile, isn't hugely extensive. A rear-seat entertainment system and power-retractable side-steps (only available on the Premium trim) are the two notable options, while customers will have their choice of six exterior paints and two to three interior schemes, depending on the trim level.

Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.
