I am selling my 2004 Cadillac Deville. I have owned the car for about six years. I purchased it from the second owner in New York where I was residing. I put about 45,000 miles on it in New York. I just relocated to Los Angeles in June 2013. I drove the car out and it performed perfectly. (I never used it to tow a trailer.) Mechanically, the car is in great shape. I am selling it because my new job comes with a company car. The interior has no rips or tears but really needs a good, deep cleaning. The finish has rubbed off some of the radio switches from day to day use, please refer to the picture. All of the options work including the air conditioner, radio/CD, windows, locks, sunroof, etc. I had it gone over mechanically in May 2013 before I left the east coast and I had the oil changed again when I arrived in Los Angeles. While it is a 10 year old car and therefore mechanical issues can appear at any time, to my knowledge, it currently needs nothing. (I drove to Las Vegas a few weeks ago and it ran perfectly.) The body is in pretty good shape except for a dent on the left passenger door that also involves the rear quarter panel; there is a pretty deep scratch on the left rear quarter panel: there are scratches on the front and rear bumper, especially the drivers side of the rear bumper; the driver door has a dent (hard to see) and part of the right front plastic inner wheel well has broken off due my "catching" one of the too- high concrete "barriers" that are in the front of each parking space in many lots here in Los Angeles. (Please see pictures for all of these issues. Also, the pictures don't really show all of the minor scratches and imperfections, its a 10 year old car!) I was involved in one accident over the years; while waiting at a red light, a truck waiting in front of me decided to back up for some unknown reason. I could not back up to avoid him as there was a car behind me also waiting at the light. He didn't hear me leaning on my horn, hit me and damaged the front grill and hood. I had the grill and hood replaced with new GM parts that his insurance company paid for, of course. There was no frame damage, just cosmetics. I am pricing the car very low because I would like to sell it ASAP and stop paying for insurance, etc. since I am no longer using it. I am not pricing it low because its a "clunker"....far from it. Jump in and drive it as is or get the bodywork repaired and a deep interior cleaning. Thanks!

Cadillac Elmiraj Concept slinks in Leno's Garage
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Jay Leno's Garage has moved to Pebble Beach for the week. This time around, the affable comedian is taking a look at the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept that debuted during the Monterey car week, and is talking to General Motors vice president of global design, Ed Welburn.
There's plenty of reminiscing about what concept cars were like when these two were kids, before a fairly deep dive into the striking Elmiraj Concept itself. Welburn shares a few anecdotes about the design process behind the two-door concept, including how his designers changed his mind on the grille design.
After bringing up the Cimarron, Leno makes a solid point that the Elmiraj would be a solid production car that could even spawn a four-door variant. We couldn't agree more. Take a look below for the full video from Jay Leno's Garage.
2015 Cadillac Escalade
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Cadillac has been an interesting story in the auto industry over the past several years. Its comeback bid may be well over a decade old, but it's only recently that the Wreath and Crest has transformed from the auto industry's retirement home into its hot new thing. Today's Cadillac is a powerful marque working to instill passionate design, sound driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology into each model it builds, with vehicles like the ATS and redesigned CTS leading the charge.
Now, its latest model has arrived. This fourth-generation Escalade is among the most important new Cadillacs since the division's renaissance kicked into high gear. It's the brand's de facto flagship, and the first vehicle many young people think of when hearing the name "Cadillac." In the past, the Escalade was the chosen vehicle of the rich, flashy and famous. It's suffered over the past few years, though, particularly as new and more luxurious competitors have come to the fore.
With this latest redesign, General Motors is aiming to retake the spotlight as purveyors of the market's premier luxury SUV. To find out if it's been successful, I ventured down to the South Carolina Lowcountry to test the all-new 2015 Escalade.
2014 Cadillac CTS
Tue, 24 Sep 2013Fixated By Europeans, GM Ensures The Third Time Is A Charm
Few things are better for consumers than competition raising the bar. And no campaign seems fiercer than the one currently underway in the midsize sport-sedan segment now that Cadillac has introduced its all-new 2014 CTS to go head-to-head against the benchmark Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
While the CTS has been on the market for slightly more than a decade, up until this third-generation, Cadillac hasn't truly had the proper high-performance rear-wheel-drive architecture to build a genuine world-class fighter, both inside and out. And now that the American automaker has successfully mirrored Audi, BMW and Mercedes in overall vehicle size, engine output and cabin appointments, the first shots have been fired.
