First let me start off by saying:

The engine in this car is not original. Northstar had some serious issues with the head gaskets and engine on many of these cars. The engine is this particular one was removed and rebuilt at 62,000 miles. The car has performed great in the last 18,000 miles with no issues at all. About 4 years ago after we had the motor rebuilt we sold it to woman who had faithfully serviced this car from front to back. Oil changes on time. Completely took car of this vehicle.

She has returned and purchased another car and traded this Cadillac in. As you can possibly tell there are numbers on the windshield. We ran this through a dealer's auction and it did not bring the value this car should get. So with that said we are listing it ebay and see how it will do here.

We are not asking a lot of money for this car but we fell it should bring at least the trade amount we gave here. ($1200.00)

So here it is. Rides like a dream. Great tires, shocks, exhaust, Everything seems to be good. We did find a new tie rod end in the trunk. Not sure if this was going to be installed at a later time or if it for another vehicle. So keep that in mind while bidding. This is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest biddder.

Please if you do bid I only ask that you follow through on the bid. I don;t want to second chance it. I want to sell it the first time. This is a turn key car. The car is located in Concord MA and can be driven or transported home from there.

Clean and clear title. Mass does not use temp tags/plates so you would need to make arrangements if you were planning on driving it home. We can send you the paperwork if you need the to acquire tags prior to picking it up in person.

Thank you for looking at our auction

2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:

Next-gen Cadillac Escalade debuting October 7 in NYC

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

Cadillac will unveil the next Escalade in October, at an event in New York City. It will be the sole member of GM's large SUV family to not get a debut at the Texas State Fair, which we don't think is all that surprising, considering the kind of clientele attracted by the big Caddy.
The new truck, from the few teaser images and spy shots we've seen, has evolved with the rest of the Cadillac range. We've got a glimpse of its tall, thin headlights, which look like an evolution of what's on the current truck. Expect some kind of egg-crate grille, reminiscent of the new CTS and ATS, while Cadillac's CUE system should feature heavily in what we hope is a thoroughly revised cabin.
The event takes place on October 7, so check back then for more info on the all-new Escalade.

Watch Brad Pitt's Chinese Cadillac XTS commercial

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Once upon a time, in a land not so far from this one, Brad Pitt was the very face anti-consumerism. You see, when he slipped into the role of the elitist-loathing, food-abusing, violence-embracing Tyler Durden from Fight Club, his visage was inextricably married to images of leveling credit card corporations with nothing more than a little human fat and some determination. Of course, that was before Pitt settled into old age with a passel of children at his feet. Now, it seems, he'll shill for something as long as it doesn't damage his reputation in America.
Need proof? Look no further than this Chinese ad for the Cadillac XTS. In it, Pitt contentedly wafts the big front-wheel drive barge around San Francisco against a mildly euphoric soundtrack. You can check out the scene for yourself below, just make sure you have your last meal squarely situated in your stomach before pressing play. We have to wonder if Pitt wakes up in the middle of the night with Chuck Palahniuk's oddly omniscient words echoing in his ears: "Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you."
