Have here a 1999 Cadillac Deville Concours. Luxury through and through. I've taken the worry out of buying a 15 year old car for you. The engine has been swapped out with another correct 4.6 Northstar engine with 300 HP. Approx 100,000 miles on the second engine. Of course this engine has no oil leaks or head gasket leak like the previous engine did. A/C compressor replaced last year, new starter this year, tires have approx 15000 miles of wear, new headlights, sway bars have been replaced, spark plugs and tune-up recently done, engine struts have been replaced, new heater core, tie rod end, gaskets have been replaced, all hoses have been replaced, new battery, and more. Has a small rust spot on the trunk, the rest of the body is in great shape. Had the front bumper cover replaced and professionally painted. The color of the car is Shale which looks like a silver/gray. Tan interior neutral shale/oatmeal leather. Rain sensing windshield, zebrano wood trim, electronic compass mirror, electrochromic inside rear view mirror, fingertip steering wheel controls, sunroof with express open, memory package, curb assist rear view mirror, Bose sound system with radio data system and 12 CD changer in the trunk, power windows, power locks, power seats, heated leather seats, massaging lumbar, traction control, stabilitrak, ABS, speed-sensitive steering, variable road-sensing suspension, sport suspension, air bags in the front and side doors, built in garage door opener, pre-wired for on-star, automatic pull down trunk, theft deterrent system, chrome wheels, and the list goes on. Carfax reports that the car was in a minor fender bender in 1999 when the car was brand new. The car was built in Georgia and that is where the fender bender apparently took place. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle. Buyer pays deposit of $500 and balance on picking up of vehicle. Car is located a few miles north of the Washington state border.

GM CEO Akerson calls out Tesla, says Cadillac will compete on EVs

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

Cadillac will be taking on Tesla Motors, the underdog EV manufacturer that's seen heaps of critical acclaim and stock market buzz with its most recent sedan, the Model S. "If you want to compete head-to-head with Tesla, and we ultimately will, you want to do it with a Cadillac," Dan Akerson, the chairman and CEO of General Motors, told media in Washington, according to The Detroit News.
Akerson continued, telling The News, "We'll sell more Volts and lose less money on the Volts than they'll lose on the Model S." He also took time to point out that Tesla getting vehicles out to customers isn't a guarantee of success or permanence, using Fisker as an example, saying "Does anybody even remember Fisker? I mean, there were a number of them; they are all gone."
This strong talk from Akerson comes after Doug Parks, another GM exec, let slip that the Detroit-based manufacturer has an EV in the works that will cover 200 miles per charge and only cost about $30,000, a massive upgrade over similarly priced EVs that struggle to top 100 miles per charge. Until that vehicle arrives, though, GM is preparing the Cadillac ELR, a small coupe that, like the Volt with which it shares technology, uses a gas engine as a mobile generator to recharge the batteries. Akerson took aim at Tesla again, saying, "But I do think when the ELR comes out late this year, early next - it's certainly the same postal code as Tesla, but now we're going to move up. It's not going to be a mass-produced car."

Cadillac may not build Elmiraj coupe

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Despite the fact that most everyone who has laid eyes on the Cadillac Elmiraj concept coupe loves it, General Motors insiders are still trying to prove the business case to build the car. And it's certainly not a guarantee.
"I want to see this car go into production badly. Very badly," Ed Welburn, GM's Global Head of Design, told Autoblog. But the Cadillac design studio is busier than it's ever been before, and the company is working on prioritizing which cars deserve to get the billion-dollar price tag needed to research and develop a new model.
No matter what happens, Welburn says the car has made its mark on Cadillac

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
