1978 DeVille.  4 door.   Bought in Victoria B.C. in 2004.  Has been in my garage year round.  Although during the summer months i take it out and use it a bit as a second car.  New windshield in 2008.  Air conditioning was converted to modern type freon in 2003 or so.  ( $700.00 upgrade)  Tires are Micheline X with 85% wear left.   I had the ball joints and tie rod ends swapped out with qaulity MOOG parts in 2008 or so.  And a wheel alignment.  So she steers like a dream.  The alternator was changed in 2010.  The brakes were done in about 2008.  And i have only driven it 2000 to 3000 KM per year since then.  In 2011 the car never moved.
I had the car professionally painted the stock color in 2007.   There was no body work to be done at that time.  And certainly none needed now.  The car fits the antique category.  Plates run about $120.00 per year.  The engine is the 7.0 L 425 ci big block Caddy engine. The tranny is a turbo 400 BOP bolt pattern.

I would consider any type of expensive jewelery on trade.  Cheers

Five awesome Lego car creations

Thu, 23 Oct 2014

Lego cars are among our favorite toys. They're fun for play, and if built properly, great to display. With that in mind, we've crafted a list of some of the best creations we've seen. Some are on sale now, while others are merely the work of fanciful enthusiasts. There are even a couple that you definitely cannot buy (we'll explain).
Our choices are diverse, including everything from a diminutive 1969 Chevy Corvette to a fullsize Ferrari Formula One racecar. These are just five projects that caught our eye - there are many more out there - so if you don't see your favorite Lego car on the list (or if you have your own creation), please tell us about it, in Comments.

Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.

2014 Cadillac CTS images leak out yet again

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

It seems the 2014 Cadillac CTS just doesn't want to stay under wraps. For the second time in as many days, Caddy's next sedan is showing a bit more sheetmetal than the automaker would like before it is officially debuted tomorrow at the New York Auto Show.
This time, the leak comes from USA Today, and we've gone ahead and added them to our gallery of 2014 CTS images. As you may know, Cadillac will bestow the next CTS with an all-new twin-turbo V6 engine that will offer up an impressive 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
USA Today also mentions a new Vsport model but doesn't give any more details other than the fact that it will boast the twin-turbo engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, all you have to do is come back to these pages for the official unveiling tomorrow afternoon for all the sordid details. In the meantime, check out the images above.
