Here we are, one beautiful super rare BUICK Skylark CONVERTIBLE for sale!

Nicely rebuild and repainted in light metallic Blue with white/blue vinyl interior and white convertible top.
This Street Rod has been converted to a chevy 350 Engine and a Turbo 350 Transmission! It does kiss A!
This classic beauty is great for cruising on weekends, it might be a cute girl car, not enormous in size has power steering and is a pleasure to drive. 2 stereo systems to choose from, one with bluetooth and remote control. Many thing have been worked on this early '60 classic. The list is endless but as with every classic car there are always things that can be done, perfected or simply improved. For my part I suggest you simply enjoy this ride, since we hardly find the time to pull it out of its garage on weekends, thats why I feel it needs a new home!

Here is a list of the work performed in the last 3 month on this car:
-new tires (300 miles)
-new upper control arm
-new lower ball joints
-new power steering pump
-new power steering hoses
-new valve cover seals
-new transmission seal
-newly wired circuit braker for stereo and rewired battery and thermostat
-new alignment
-new wipers
-new molding clips
-newly straightened and polished trunk lind molding and corners
-new chrome on rear bumper
and the list goes on and on, and on and on.....

Just the other day the speedometer cable went out, I have not yet replaced it. A matter of 25$.... Have some spare parts in the trunk and the stereo needs wiring.
I gladly can assist you with shipping of this vehicle! I can deliver it to the Oakland Port or any transporter Business within 50 miles radius from CA 94952.
For foreign people, I do speak french, italian and german. For all USA buyers I suggest using InterCityLines as enclosed transporter company. The last classic car I sold was picked up within 4 days and delivered without a scratch one week later to the east coast. Its with a couple of $ more and you will have no headaches at all! (do NOT use Showcase auto transport in Florida!!!!)
I gladly answer all questions I can and you are welcome to inspect the Buick or send a Inspector BEFORE the auction ends. I have this Classic Car up for sale locally so don't wait to the last minute bidding I might stop the auction and sell it here in town. Thanks for looking and drive safely

2013 Buick Verano Turbo vs. 2013 Acura ILX 2.4

Answering The $30,000 Entry-Level Luxury Question
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and Acura would have matched a Skylark against an Integra.
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and its Acura equivalent would have matched a Skylark against an Integra. The unfair battle would have resulted in the compact American's defeat in nearly every measurable category, as the Japanese competitor was arguably at the height of its powers.

GM China President says automaker could export vehicles from China to US

Sat, 20 Apr 2013

At a press conference on Saturday at the Shanghai Motor Show, General Motors announced plans to further expand its presence in the Chinese market. Among those commitments are plans to build four new plants by the end of 2015, giving the automaker the capacity to produce around five million vehicles a year in the country.
In order to make the most of that expansion, GM is adding 400 dealerships in China this year alone (for a total of 4,200 sales points), and it's eyeing 5,100 dealers by 2015. Yet not all of that production will stay in China - GM is planning to increase exports as well. Officials estimate the company will export somewhere between 100,000 and 130,000 Chinese-built vehicles this year - a record. And it's gunning for more.
Autoblog asked GM China president Bob Socia (above) if that means the company might eventually export new vehicles built in China to the United States, and he responded:

eBay Find of the Day: 1981 DeLorean with 570-hp twin-turbo Buick V6 [w/videos]

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

"Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?" So asked one Marty McFly of his mentor Dr. Emmett Brown, who replied: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
Doc Brown was right, of course: with an exotic mid-engine layout, gullwing doors and stainless steel body, the DeLorean DMC-12 sure looked the part. It just needed a little more juice. Well this one might not have 1.21 gigawatts of time-bending power - that'd be more than one and a half million horsepower - but it does have more than the 150 hp in the the standard 2.8-liter V6.
That's because this particular DeLorean has had its stock Peugeot Renault Volvo engine swapped out for a Buick-sourced, all-aluminum, 4.3-liter V6 from the Grand National. Dutteiller Performance didn't leave the engine in stock form, either: while they were swapping it out, they added a pair of turbochargers, new pistons, crank, cams and much, much more.
