FROM MY CAR COLLECTION

This is a 1996 Buick RoadMaster Estate Wagon in simply beautiful original factory

condition with very low mileage.  It has ALL rare factory options (including CD player)

making it truly one of the best available surviving examples of the last full-size American station

wagons!  I'm only selling because I need to reduce the number of cars I own (and to make my

wife happy who claims I've gone overboard with my cars!)

The car has always been maintained to the strictest standards

and is completely RUST-FREE and mechanically perfect...

The car was purchased new in Arkansas and then sold to Anaheim,California. Last year

the car was driven to Montreal,Quebec where I bought it last fall; I drove it to NH and it

performed  flawlessly.   (Yes, thanks to the overdrive transmission,it really gets 25mpg!)

There's very little to add because this car needs nothing;  it is unquestionably one of

the finest cars ever built by GM...and it runs like a top!  The engi9ne sounds, runs and feels

smooth and provides wonderful power.  The engine is very reliable and economical.  The interior

is spotless and the leather seats are most comfortable with no wear.  If you require more pictures

of any part of the car, please let me know.

Buick Regal GS and troupe of basketball dribblers make great beats

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

The 166 videos posted by YouTube music video maestro Kurt Hugo Schneider have been watched almost half a billion times. When Coke wanted to do something musically inclined and a little different, it called KHS, and the result was the video Little Talks.
Buick appears to be the next blue chip in line, and KHS' melodic celebration of the 259-horsepower Regal GS is called Epic Basketball + Car Beat. In it, a red Regal sits at center court in Venice Beach, California while a cast of ridiculous dribblers make music with and around the sedan.
We'll let the music speak for itself, which it does quite well in the video below.

2014 Buick Regal gets the party rolling in NY

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

Although the first day of the 2013 New York Auto Show kicks off bright and early this morning, Buick got a jump on the competition by unveiling the 2014 Buick Regal lineup last night. While the Regal received many upgrades for the 2014 model year, most of our attention was focused on the sedan's drivetrain.
When the new Regal hits dealers this fall, buyers opting for the new Regal Turbo will be welcomed by an additional 39 horsepower and 35 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter turbo engine; the 2014 Regal GS now features the same output of 259 hp and 295 lb-ft, meaning that it has actually lost 11 hp over the 2013 model year. Buick says the reason for the GS' power loss comes from the fact that the newly available all-wheel-drive system forced the car to use a smaller diameter exhaust system, but representatives on hand assured us that the reduction of horsepower won't affect the car's performance and could even help improve fuel economy. And who knows? Maybe downgrading the power of the Regal GS also helps create a little breathing room for a future Grand National or GNX model...
Although the power under the hood is now the same, it is still impossible to confuse the two cars from the outside. Minor updates give both a fresher look, but the Regal GS has an unmistakeable aggression to it. The GS' interior also helps it stand apart from lower Regal trim levels with an eight-inch configurable gauge cluster similar to what is offered in the 2014 LaCrosse. The cabin of the Regal wasn't given an extensive makeover like the LaCrosse received, but the upgraded IntelliLink infotainment system and the cleaner center stack and steering wheel controls are appreciated changes.

How to hack a Buick Regal with CarKnow

Thu, 08 Aug 2013

If you own an Apple iPhone or Android device, perhaps you've been tempted to jailbreak or root it. This process gives you access to the the software's code, and can be used to make minor or drastic changes to its operating system. CarKnow, a company in Boston, is working applying a similar concept to the automobile.
Translogic recently took a look inside CarKnow to see just how it can tweak the computers inside a car and what sort of things can be done. As our transportation tech sister site explains, CarKnow basically created a digital duplicate of their Buick Regal in the cloud, while harvesting data generated to create custom apps and infiltrate the deepest function of their test car.
And before you freak out about people maliciously taking over your car, CarKnow's founder, Josh Siegel, stresses that it isn't quite so easy as driving up alongside someone. Take a look at the full video below to see just what it's like to jailbreak a car.
