We have a very nice 1986 Buick Regal Limited 5L V8 307cu.in. up for sale. This is a family car and has always been garaged, rust is almost non-existent under the car. This is a two owner car, but it stayed within the family and the same garage too. Just 53,560 miles and the engine still roars, this is a beautiful cruising car, when I drove around to do some basic repairs 10 years ago people would stick their head out of the window and holler "nice car!" :) Sitting in the drivers seat is like being in an aircraft pilot seat, you sit and view the whole profile of the hood, your basically commanding this aircraft. The title is 100% clean, the car did have a couple low speed taps in the front, the bumpers are very straight as well as the body, you can see in the pictures the two trim pieces that side on either side of the front grill is cracked and in need of replacement, there is also a trim piece that sits between the rear bumper and body of the car that is also needs replacement. There are a couple dings and scratches you can see in the detailed pictures. The interior is incredibly clean, there are a couple cigarette burns but they just add to the nostalgia (maybe 4 total), the headliner was re-done but there is a crease running through it but otherwise its very nice. Its a beautiful car and all the repairs could be done in 4-5 weekends and she will be real nice. There is fresh oil/filter in her now and she got a quick detail. Opel readying Adam model with SUV cues
Fri, 11 Oct 2013The Opel Adam, the microcar of General Motors' European subsidiary, has seen its sales cool significantly since it first hit the market in the United Kingdom and Europe, but a push is reportedly under way that just might be enough to get the stylish, little car moving again.
Using the Opel Adam Rocks Concept as a template, Opel will ruggedize the Adam, so that it might compete with the growing herd of city cars that sport SUV styling, like the Volkswagen Cross Up and Fiat Panda 4x4, according to a report from Automotive News Europe. Sporting a bumped-up ride height and tougher body work, it's a dedicated soft-roader, but will freshen the Adam's lineup and, hopefully, broaden its customer appeal.
The Adam Rocks, according to IHS Automotive analyst Ian Fletcher, should also make some more coin for GM's struggling European arm. "Automakers are happy to meet demand for SUV and crossovers as the customer pays a premium," Fletcher told ANE. And although the Rocks might have been planned from the start as a production vehicle, the timing, with the Adam's sales slowdown, doesn't seem like a coincidence.
GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:

Opel Cascada close to getting green light for US
Fri, 13 Sep 2013For a company with a long tradition of grand touring convertibles, it's almost unseemly that General Motors doesn't offer a properly relaxed four-seat convertible in North America. There's the Chevrolet Camaro, of course, but it's not big on rear-seat space and it doesn't offer that sort of serene demeanor that many open-air buyers crave. We're thinking of something more refined and, dare we say, elegant. Something a bit closer to the Opel Cascada.
The General's front-wheel drive convertible went on sale in Europe this year, and while it seemed like a natural fit for its Buick brand in America, it's never been sold here. That may be about to change, however. Back in June, CEO Dan Akerson hinted he'd like to see the Cascada available in the US, and now there's word from Edmunds that importation "could happen soon." That's according to an unnamed insider at the company.
It's almost unseemly that GM doesn't offer a relaxed four-seat convertible.
