1986 BUICK REGAL. 307 V-8 ENGINE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. FACTORY T-TOPS, BUCKET SEATS AND AUTOMATIC IN THE FLOOR. NEWER TIRES,BRAKES AND SHOCKS. CARPET AND INTERIOR IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE. ONE TEAR ON SIDE OF DRIVERS SIDE SEAT AND TWO SMALL CRACKS ON THE DASH. THERE IS NO FADING ON THE INTERIOR ANY WHERE. BODY IS RUST FREE AND IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION. HAS SOME SMALL PLACES ON THE FRONT NOSE THAT SOME HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP BY PREVIOUS OWNER. IVE INCLUDED PICTURES OF ALL THE TOUCH UPS. HAVE THE FACTORY GM BLACK COVERS FOR T-TOPS THAT APPEAR TO HAVE NEVER BEEN USED. HAS THE FACTORY BUICK RALLY WHEELS THAT WERE ORDERED TO MATCH THE CARS PAINT. STILL HAS FACTORY CASSETTE PLAYER THAT WORKS AND STILL HAS THE PROTECTIVE FILM. EVERYTHING WORKS JUST LIKE IT CAME FROM THE FACTORY. AIR CONDITIONING BLOWS COLD. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT LOCALLY AND HAS STAYED HERE SINCE NEW. HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE. THE CAR CAME WITH ALOT OF ADDED OPTIONS. GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
2013 Buick Verano Turbo

Those of you who still think of the Buick Verano as some sort of callously badge-engineered, gussied up version of the Chevrolet Cruze ("Why would anyone spend that much money on Buick's Cruze?" you may have been heard to mutter) have got the wrong idea. Entirely. Even in its most modest form, the Verano turns out to be a sedan that is feature-rich, insulated from wind and road noise in proper luxury car fashion, pretty good to drive and not bad to look at in the new school of high-nosed pedestrian-impact-regulated fashion. In a less modest form then, one that attaches the word "Turbo" to the moniker and plops a force-fed 2.0-liter four-cylinder under the hood, the Verano is downright interesting.
Of course, "interesting" is rarely a descriptor that fills one with lust - and so it goes with this example. There are two competing forces within this near-premium subcompact sedan, and the balance struck between them must resonate with any potential customer before the Verano Turbo can become a serious purchase consideration.
