This is a 2000 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with the 3.8L Supercharged V6 engine. I would love to have a long description about this car but there isn't much to say except that it is in wonderful condition. There are just a few spots that there is some rust bubbles but like because of stone chips in the hood and a few other places on the car but other than that it is immaculate. The back seat is in great shape and I don't even think anyone has even sat in the back since I've owned it. It has heated leather seats, premium chrome rims, powered headrests, rain sensing wipers, remote keyless entry, trunk matt from the factory, OnStar and a premium sound system which includes an amplifier in the trunk, Multi-Disk Changer in the trunk and it sounds as if there was a subwoofer in the trunk but it from the factory. There really is to many features to mention. About the only thing it doesn't have is a moon roof. Right now it has 99,827 miles but we are driving it so it may be a little higher at the time of sale but it won't be much, probably around 500 more maybe. This car does come with two extra keys however, they are just valet keys. I had bought them off ebay for extra keys but I didn't find out until after they were cut that they only operate the ignition and cannot open the door nor the trunk. There really isn't a whole lot left to tell you about this car except it's a great vehicle. I do have a very generous reserve set on my part but if it is not met, you are more than welcome to shoot me an offer. I am willing to work with the winning bidder for shipment of this car. I would like a deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auctions end and the balance before the car is picked up. It has a clear title and is ready for immediate sale. However it is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.

The importance of Angel Eyes, Ventiports and four round taillights
Sun, 01 Sep 2013Just the other day, we told you about how Lincoln isn't really a luxury brand, according to Ford's head design man, J Mays. His argument was that Lincoln lacked the unique DNA to differentiate it from the rest of the market, although the arrival of the MKZ is beginning to change that. Now, we have this video from Autoline Detroit, where Jim Hall, an analyst for 2953 Analytics who was quoted in yesterday's Lincoln story, explains the influence of certain styling cues and how they impact the brands.
Using BMW (Angel Eyes) and Buick (Ventiports) as examples for small, simple touches that serve to distinguish the brand's vehicles on the road, Hall then points out how changing trademark styling features, as Chevrolet has done on the new Corvette Stingray, can hurt the vehicle's public perception. Take a look at the full video below for an interesting dive into what these styling features mean to their individual brands.
Buick Envision CUV displays full-frontal nudity
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Earlier this month, Shanghai GM gave us a glimpse of the production version of the Buick Envision concept revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show back in 2011. And now it's released the first unveiled shot and initial details of the crossover to slot in the considerable gap between the Encore and Enclave.
The new Envision is set later this year to reach Chinese showrooms, where it will be called the Ang Ke Wei, after which we're expecting it to arrive Stateside. The production-ready Envision is about the size of the Chevrolet Equinox or GMC Terrain, but is differentiated by a more upscale treatment and Buick's signature waterfall grille, flanked by Xenon headlamps and LED running lights and riding on 19-inch wheels.
Power comes from GM's familiar 2.0-liter turbo four with direct injection and stop/start ignition, driving 256 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. That's about all that GM's Chinese operation has announced at this point - it's not even clear what platform the vehicle is on - but you can check out the press release for yourself below.
eBay Find of the Day: 1981 DeLorean with 570-hp twin-turbo Buick V6 [w/videos]
Mon, 23 Dec 2013"Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?" So asked one Marty McFly of his mentor Dr. Emmett Brown, who replied: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
Doc Brown was right, of course: with an exotic mid-engine layout, gullwing doors and stainless steel body, the DeLorean DMC-12 sure looked the part. It just needed a little more juice. Well this one might not have 1.21 gigawatts of time-bending power - that'd be more than one and a half million horsepower - but it does have more than the 150 hp in the the standard 2.8-liter V6.
That's because this particular DeLorean has had its stock Peugeot Renault Volvo engine swapped out for a Buick-sourced, all-aluminum, 4.3-liter V6 from the Grand National. Dutteiller Performance didn't leave the engine in stock form, either: while they were swapping it out, they added a pair of turbochargers, new pistons, crank, cams and much, much more.
