I have a 1984 buick lesabre limited it has a 3.8 v.6. a.c .heat. am.fm radio power windows,locks,seats. power brakes steering .. a real good car and the title shows the miles 074000 not exempt ive had the car for a few months and was going to repaint it and put a new head liner in but due to my health I cant afford to finish this car ....I would drive this car anywhere has a two barrel carb and a three speed transmission that shifts great its a turbo 350 trans ....all the windows work locks ac heat wiper lights very clean inside nice wood work ..body is good put new bumper fillers on it ..the car needs painting and a tune up ive change the oil 300 miles ago.. tires r fair I have the book that came with the car and the wrench for the locking hub caps ..good luck bidding....car is being sold as is no warranty... I have over 2500.00 in this car....remember this not a new car its not perfect but its in good shape for its age and drives nice.....thanks

GM recalling 2013 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX over transmission software
Thu, 21 Mar 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued recalls for the 2013 Buick LaCrosse and 2013 Cadillac SRX due to a problem with the software for the transmission controller. On about 27,000 SRX and LaCrosse models, the transmission could accidentally be shifted to Sport mode, which would reduce the amount of engine braking drivers experience.
NHTSA says this could increase the risk of a crash, but, fortunately, the required fix is simply an update to the software.
While we're on the subject of General Motors vehicle recalls, a small number (48) of compressed natural gas versions of the 2011 Chevrolet Express are also being recalled for a potential risk of fire or explosion. Yikes. Both official recall notices are posted below.
Buick Riviera Concept debuts in China
Fri, 19 Apr 2013It's nighttime in China, and Buick has just concluded an evening event the day before the first - and only - press day of the Shanghai Motor Show. The star of this evening's party was the Buick Riviera concept vehicle, a plug-in electric hybrid coupe that the automaker says gives a glimpse at its future design direction, not to mention resurrecting some nomenclature from the brand's history that includes a similarly named concept from 2007.
The shape of the Riviera is said to be inspired by water. While the traditional Buick "waterfall" grille is present, the front end gains a more aggressive note thanks to what appear to be vertical air inlets below each headlight.
As for the concept's drivetrain, Buick says it uses General Motors' new dual-mode wireless plug-in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion system, or W-PHEV for short. The keyword there is 'wireless,' as the Riviera can charge its onboard battery packs with a traditional cable or wirelessly via a "sensory recharge panel" underneath the car.
