Don't miss out on this incredible buy on a GORGEOUS, VERY DESIRABLE and COLLECTIBLE 1987 Buick Grand National!!

If you have been looking for a very nice, pampered and well kept Buick Grand National with a "laundry list" of mild modifications then look no further. You can purchase this car for far less than what was spent on the upgrades (see photo of the document that outlines these in detail,  $12,600 NOT including the paint job). This incredible car comes with two sets of wheels (what you see in the photos are BRAND NEW Boss 338 18" wheels and Falken tires, less than 100 miles), the other, new re-chromed and powder coated factory GN wheels with new center caps and tires. It has a small door ding under the passenger side lock that happened in the body shop after being painted (very easy/inexpensive paintless dent removal, I just never had the time to get it done). The body is solid and straight with new paint with NO ROCK CHIPS. Even in turns the car was driven slowly so not as to "throw" any road debris on the rockers/rear quarters. It is extremely quick, but not abused and raced (no burn outs or "holeshots"). All work was professionally/tastefully done, no corners cut to save a "buck". The entire drivetrain has been enhanced to not only make it new, but to put a little more "pep in it's step" above and beyond what the factory offered. By no means is the a radical refresh, but rather a more dependable, peppier drivetrain. It has 72,000 original miles with only 3,600 miles on the enhanced drivetrain. Very dependable and QUICK. This Grand National not only has a very nice exterior, but interior as well (see photos). The car is equipped with T-tops, trunk kit, digital dash, new calipers/rotors.....the list goes on and on (please view the photo of the upgrade list). The car is sold "as is" with no written, implied or expressed warranty! I have great feedback and please feel to contact me (Brad) with any questions at 614-348-2079! I am selling locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early, thank you for looking!!

Opel Cascada is Europe's Buick convertible [w/video]

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

As we reported earlier, there has been much speculation regarding a Buick convertible of sorts. The most ringing endorsement of this conjecture comes today from General Motors Europe, as the new Opel Cascada has debuted on the interwebs. Opel calls the four-passenger Cascada an "athletic, glamorous midsize convertible." With a length of 4,697mm (185 in.), the Cascada is as long as an Audi A5, to which GM has said it would be slightly larger.
The Cascada, which is Spanish for waterfall, features a cloth convertible top that retracts in 17 seconds and at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). The Cascada features a 1.4-liter turbo gas engine, 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 165 horsepower and a range-topping 1.6-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine that puts out 170 horsepower and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). Power is sent through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
According to GM, the Cascada will also come rife with luxury and tech features. In addition to adaptive forward lighting and ergonomic heated front seats, the convertible will feature Opel Eye, which is a front camera that can recognize traffic signs and incorporates lane departure warning and forward collision alert.

Next-gen LaCrosse, Cascada convertible coming to Buick showrooms in 2016

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

It's difficult to overstate how significant the post-bankruptcy years have been for General Motors' Buick brand. Arguably the most improved American automaker, Buick has rounded out its range with an excellent compact in the Verano, a well-balanced midsizer in the Regal and a segment-busting mini-CUV, with the Encore.
Seeking to keep that momentum going, the next several years will see the brand address a trio of its most obvious issues. First and foremost will be a replacement for the aging LaCrosse, a vehicle whose only bit of attention since its 2009 debut was a very light refresh in 2013.
According to Automotive News, we should expect the next-generation LaCrosse to arrive late next year or early in 2016, as a 2016 model. AN expects big design changes, as Buick attempts to further the LaCrosse from its popular platform-mate, the Chevrolet Impala. The changes won't be so radical, though, as to do away with its front-drive architecture, as the latest version of the Epsilon platform will underpin the next LaCrosse. The 3.6-liter V6 is likely to carry on, although a smaller, budget-minded offering is also extremely likely (we'll eat our hat if it's not the 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder from the Regal, Verano and Cadillac CTS et al.).

Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.
