This is a nice, original, low-mile car. I purchased this car from the original owner, who always kept it garaged and only drove it occasionally. He used his truck as a daily driver.

In 1976, the Buick Century was used as the Indy 500 pace car, and is known for its sporty header/grill.

This Century has a nice color combination, new tires, 3.8 motor, the vinyl top and moldings are original. The interior is very clean, and shows no wear. It has the original owner's manual, option sheet, and dealer's invoice.

This car drives and looks great, and it can be driven anywhere.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
