No Reserve Beautiful '1 Owner' Ca Car Cypress With Saddle Brown on 2040-cars
Cambria, California, United States
I received this car last month as part of a business transaction. It was purchased new from Las Gatos Bentley and serviced there it's entire life (so all records are available including original bill of sale). Carfax/autocheck showed it as a 1 owner with dealer servicing from new. (I can email the carfax/autocheck). No damage history. Perfect clean title. It has 46k+ on it and is in amazing condition. Cypress green/grey (like British racing green - only with metallic paint and shimmers between green and grey in the sun) with tan leather interior. Best color combination I've seen. Drives and looks as it should. Has Mulliner wheels and massaging seats, Interior is near flawless with slight wear on bolster. There is a tiny chip in windshield. A couple of pin hole size rock chips on front and a slight paint blemish (1/16" on the passenger door) which can be repaired for $200 if it bothers you. You wouldn't see it unless pointed out. Wheels have no noticeable rash. I've only driven it a few times and it's sitting in the garage now. Exotic trades possible. Current and new California registration.
Located on the central California Coast on beautiful Highway 1! Read my feedback. I've sold several high dollar autos and have a 600+ feedback with 100% positive. High bidder buys this. NO RESERVE. If you want to buy before it ends use the buy it now or contact me. If you are a low feedback or zero feedback buyer contact me before you bid. USA only. Buyer must finish purchase including picking up auto by Feb 18, 2014. |

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation
Sat, 09 Aug 2014
The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
The Bentley Flying Spur V8 shows even a basic Bentley is a nice place to be
Wed, 05 Mar 2014While it is hard to call any Bentley entry-level, the Flying Spur V8 that's debuting at the Geneva Motor Show is technically the lowest rung among Bentley's four-doors. However, if our experience with the Continental GT V8 is anything to go by - the Spur and the Conti still share a platform, despite the former dropping "Continental" from its branding - the loss of a few cylinders won't harm the overall experience.
The latest model uses the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with cylinder deactivation that produces 500 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. It is capable of accelerating to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds to a top speed of 183 mph. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, and it rides on an air suspension.
Buyers wanting a little more luxury (and who doesn't?) can opt for the Mulliner Driving Specification that adds diamond-quilted leather, a leather headliner, power rear seats and 20-inch wheels. The Flying Spur V8 will join the Flying B's lineup this spring.
2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible
Tue, 24 Jun 2014There are few things in this world I enjoy more than an enthusiastic drive down tree-lined backroads on a warm summer evening. If you're familiar with the geographic location of Detroit, you won't be shocked to learn that we don't have the sort of very-involving roads found all throughout California and other gorgeous parts of the country, but we still have some stretches of pavement that can be pretty darn fun when driven in the right car. The vast majority of our scenic roads, however, are of a more relaxed nature. And that's why, despite my tendency to prefer high-strung hot hatches above all, I will never say no to a big, fast convertible during the warm season.
As far as said big, fast convertibles go, perhaps none is more exquisite than the 2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible, pictured here in the striking shade of St. James Red. Not long after returning from my trip across the pond to drive Bentley's V8-powered Flying Spur sedan, I was given the chance to sample another one of its eight-cylinder wares, this one carrying less heft, offering a smidge more power, and, oh yeah, a roof that neatly stows behind the rear seats.
As luck would have it, the weather for my Conti weekend was the absolute definition of perfection. And so I took to those sweeping, tree-lined roads way outside of Detroit to see how this Bentley's "S" badge improves upon the lovely GT V8 Convertible I drove last year. Hard work, but somebody's gotta do it.
