WE TOOK THIS X5 IN A TRADE AND IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE, THE EXTERIOR IS BLACK W/BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR. HAS BURL WOOD FINISHED DASH, WHICH GIVES THE TRUCK A RICH LOOK. RUNS EXCELLENT.
THE ENGINE RUNS GOOD AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD AS WELL. THE INTERIOR IS CLEAN AND HAS NO BAD ODORS. THE RADIO SCREEN FLASHES ON AND OFF, THE RADIO WORKS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN SHUTS OFF. SOME OF THE DOOR SPEAKERS ARE MISSING AS WELL. THE BRAKES WORK AS THEY SHOULD ALSO AND THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT HALF LIFE LEFT ON THEM.
THIS X5 HAS SOME MINOR DENTS AND SCRATCHES AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS. THE WHEELS HAVE SOME CURB RASH.

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.
BMW i8 Spyder gets production nod
Wed, 18 Dec 2013BMW could be poised to expand its i8 range, beyond the hardtop version of the plug-in hybrid supercar. A report from Bimmerpost is claiming that the i8 Spyder, which we showed you in concept form at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, will be heading to production.
The website claims the open-roof fuel-sipper was shown to BMW management last Friday as a production-intent model. Other than that, there's not a lot to tell here. The i8 Spyder should feature all the same mechanical and aesthetic features found on the i8 Coupe, just without the confining nature of a roof. It's unclear when we'll see a production i8 droptop make its debut, although this certainly strikes us as the kind of car that should arrive at the Geneva Motor Show.
While an i8 Spyder does seem like a logical leap for BMW's i sub-brand, we're going to keep this one filed under the rumors category until we hear more.
BMW shuffles chairs in its design department
Sun, 22 Sep 2013BMW Group has made some changes to its design team since August 1, and has shuffled top personnel to different positions at BMW Design, Mini Design and Rolls-Royce.
The BMW Design team led by Karim Habib (middle, right) gains a new head of Exterior Design in Domagoj Dukec (right), who has worked for the exterior design team since 2010 and shaped the Concept Active Tourer.
Oliver Heilmer (left), who has worked for BMW's interior design unit since 2000 and designed the 5 Series interior, replaces Marc Girard as head of Interior Design BMW Automobiles. Marc Girard goes to manage BMW's subsidiary design group, BMW DesignworksUSA.
