Hello,
Please read before bidding.
Up for auction a 2010 BMW M5 with 55033km 34193miles on it. This beautiful BMW M5 starts and drives amazing without any problems, has no body damage no dings no scratches. The interior is immaculate condition, no smell, no tears, no burnt holes or anything of that nature, all electronics work and function the way they should. The engine runs nice and quite shows no signs of any problems no check engine light no noises, no leaks, idles and accelerates the way it should. Transmission is in a good working order as well as the rest of the car, shifts smooth through all gears no delays no hesitations. The tires are almost brand new, you will not be disappointed once you see this car in person. HOWEVER sadly enough this M5 carries a NON REPAIRABLE TITLE in Alberta which means you can not register the car in Alberta nor Canada. After my further investigation on the title I discovered that the front pass wheel was flooded so the vehicle received a non repairable title. I'm willing to disclose all the information I have about this vehicle I'm not going to hide anything and Im not the first owner and do not have record of its previous service history but I will try to answer all questions in a timely manner should you have any. PLEASE check with your local registrar office and do your own homework on vin#WBSNB9C56AC043097. As laws and regulations are different in all regions. You can buy this beautiful 2010 BMW M5 at a fraction of its cost and ship it out of Canada and sell for a profit or use your imagination on what you want to do with it. I will help to arrange shipping to buyers country of destination at buyers cost. Although after i had bought this vehicle I had it inspected a shop with my presence to verify if any damage has been caused to the electronics which hide under the carpet of the M5 the results came negative the carpets were lifted up and checked the sponge for any signs of water contamination. There were none, the carpets looked like brand new and smelled brand new no mold or any other surprises that you would normally find in a flooded vehicle. The water did not seem to have entered the inside of the vehicle. After all this is not a brand new car and does not come with any warranty it is sold as is where is. With that being said for your confidence the winning bidder is welcome to have this car inspected at your cost and at your choice of any local mechanic shops. I'm confident about condition of this M5 so you can buy and drive it the minute you receive it, it needs nothing, ready to start and drive. You will truly love this machine don't let the title scare you it can be yours for much much less money than a regular 2010 M5. After end of auction a Payment of a thousand dollars is required via paypal and the remaining balance to be paid by money order, certified check, money transfer or e-transfer. Will ship worldwide at buyers expense.

Thank you and good luck:)

NHTSA urges owners of recalled Takata airbag vehicles to take immediate action

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Department of Transportation are taking the unusual step of issuing a followup press release urging owners of certain recalled vehicles "to act immediately" to fix their cars and trucks. The problem in question concerns the repair campaigns for rupturing Takata airbag inflators issued in June and covers a long list of models from Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Infiniti, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac.
While NHSTA doesn't specifically say why the recall is vital in the new release, Toyota's own explanation in its newly announced renotification campaign earlier today sheds some new light on the topic. According to the Japanese automaker, in testing, Takata found a possible link between the rupturing airbag inflators and high humidity. NHTSA is advocating that all owners pursue repairs immediately if they haven't already done so already. This is especially crucial for those drivers especially in Florida, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, American Samoa, Virgin Islands and Hawaii because of the humid conditions there.
We don't need to tell you how dangerous an inadvertent airbag deployment could be - even in a stationary vehicle - but adding to the Takata issue is fears that the deployment could lead to shrapnel being sprayed into the cabin.

History of BMW touring cars looks splendid in Adrenalin trailer

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

More high-quality documentaries about the history of motorsports are always welcome. When thinking about racing, we generally focus on moving forward to go a little faster or shave a tenth of a second off a lap. There's not much time to look backward. It's too bad, because there are so many fantastic stories from the sport's history. Thankfully, an upcoming doc is taking on the challenge of telling some of these tales, and it looks like a movie not to miss, especially for BMW fans.
Adrenalin - The BMW Touring Car Story mixes high-quality, vintage footage with new interviews from many of the drivers of these machines to craft what looks like a fantastic experience. Covering the period from the '60s to the modern DTM era, just the trailer shows racing from the 2002, 3.0 CSL and of course the E30 chassis M3 of the '80s. You also get to hear from legends behind the wheel like Hans-Joachim Stuck, Johnny Cecotto and Joachim Winkelhock telling their stories.
Adrenalin comes out in November on DVD, Blu-Ray and on-demand. Check out its trailer above for a taste at what it's aiming for. The documentary definitely looks like one to watch.

MW's new Driftmob video shows the M235i like you've never seen it before

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

Last month, we went behind the scenes of the filming of BMW's new Driftmob, web video, bringing you one post from the practice sessions, and another from the shoot itself, which took place in an enormous traffic circle in Cape Town, South Africa. Today, BMW has launched the final version of Driftmob, and it's pretty damn cool.
The plot is pretty simple: just like a flashmob, in which people invade a location and perform choreographed dances to music, much to the delight of surprised onlookers, the "driftmob" features a quintet of red M235i coupes that take over a traffic circle and perform choreographed dances - sideways - to the delight of onlookers. The only differences are that, in this case, the onlookers are mostly paid extras (though there were many unwitting passersby that joined the crowd at times) and the only music is a constant squealing of tires-a sweet song if we ever heard one. Then, after about two minutes of tire-smoking shenanigans, the coupes vanish.
As promised, we will have a more detailed, behind the scenes story about the filming of the video, including insights from Rhys Millen, Samuel Hübinette, Dai Yoshihara, Rich Rutherford, and Conrad Grunewald, the five guys who executed these remarkable stunts. Meanwhile, we hope you enjoy the short flick.
