This is a 2003 BMW M5, the last of the real naturally aspirated m5 engines. Puts out over 450hp with the custom exhaust work. New fan clutch installed, new air hoses. The 2003 models don't have those annoying vanos issues which is a huge plus and cost saver. This car has all new front and rear window regulators, Custom m5 race stripes on front and side of the car. The are vinyl so if you don't like them you can easily remove them. The paint on this car is near perfect and shines up great, no body damage any where, has 2-3 small door dings but that's it. Interior is in immaculate condition for a car of this year. Leather is in great shape with minimal wear marks, no tares anywhere ! All power options work as they should, has navigation with disc, cd changer, a/c is ice cold, Complete tint front and rear with high quality 3M material. This car has over $2k in new rims and tires. I had a new set of M6 rims installed along with new staggered 275-30-19 tires in rear and 255-35-19 in front. Tires are high quality z rated tires. 6 speed manual transmission with newer cutch about a year old. Custom AC Shnitzer like exhaust from cats back. This car has a nice rumble on start and sounds like an F-1 car on acceleration. Just a great car all around. Very low miles for the year, only 78k miles!! Who ever buys this car won't be disappointed . A tone of fun to drive, handles like a dream, I get thumbs up every time I drive it. Please be a serious bidder, if you are the winning bidder please have your finances in line so that we can make a quick and easy transaction. I can store the car for up to 30 days if you need time for shipping. If you have any questions you can call me directly aswell 720-885-4176

2014 BMW 328i xDrive Gran Turismo

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

"The Ultimate Driving Machine" has been BMW's tagline for nearly 40 years. Launched in the 1970s, the marketing campaign was a stroke of genius by ad firm Ammirati & Puris, as the phrase helped differentiate the imported Bavarian cars from their fellow European rivals by subtly pointing out that Mercedes-Benz and Audi were offering luxury models, while BMW was selling sporty and youthful driving dynamics. The campaign worked - some would argue that stands among the most effective ad campaigns ever - and countless Baby Boomers embraced the brand's fun-to-drive image by taking delivery of the company's new models.
BMW still boasts that its vehicles are "The Ultimate Driving Machine" four decades later, but the brand is very different today. It offered just a few model lines in the mid-1970s, and only a handful of vehicles within. In 2014, the automaker offers an exhaustive range comprised of nearly a dozen lines with almost 50 different models. To survive and thrive, BMW has decided it must massively broaden its appeal.
One of the latest arrivals to BMW's ever-growing stable is the 2014 3 Series Gran Turismo. The five-door hatchback is best thought of as a smaller version of the company's 5 Series Gran Turismo built on stretched 3 Series platform that, in the case of this test car, shares the running gear of the 328i xDrive sedan. On paper, the five-passenger vehicle checks all the proper boxes with regards to performance, utility and economy. But does this family-focused 3 Series still deliver driving dynamics that qualify it for the title of Ultimate Driving Machine?

Check out 90 years of BMW Motorrad in 90 seconds

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

After ninety years in business and first-to-market motorcycle innovations like the one-piece 'tunnel' crankcase, hydraulically dampened front forks and full fairings, as well as that trademark boxer engine, BMW Motorrad is celebrating its nonagenarian status with a video: You can follow the ride on BMW motorcycles from 1923 to now in just 90 seconds.
Okay, so there's more than a video - some anniversary-themed bikes and a new retro boxer model celebrating the R 32 "airhead' from 1923 also commemorate the occasion. But you can start with the video, and that's below.

Evo pits BMW M3 against Porsche Macan in drag battle

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

If you want to move five passengers in very rapid fashion and you've got a $75,000 budget, two newly introduced four-door models immediately come to mind - both are the highest performing vehicles in their respective segments. But which is faster off the line, to the 60-mile-per-hour benchmark or flat-out over an even longer run? Evo took both to paved aircraft runway to find out.
In lane one we've got the all-new Porsche Macan Turbo, which boasts a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 rated at 400 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The Porsche is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, and the 4,244-pound crossover has the traction advantage of standard all-wheel drive. In lane two is the all-new BMW M3, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six rated at 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is also equipped with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, but only the rear wheels of the 3,595-pound sedan are driven. Both the BMW and Porsche arrive with launch control, which helps to remove driver error off the line.
Which automaker's launch control system is better off the line? Does all-wheel-drive grip give the crossover the advantage it needs to overcome its adversary's power-to-weight advantage? Will aerodynamics factor into the results? Which would you put in your garage, and why? The video may surprise you.
