2002 BMW M5: This amazing 400 HP 6 speed manual German sports sedan is in fantastic condition!! There are no dents or scrapes, even the normal chips or scratches on the front bumper are almost non-existent! The interior is immaculate and the only real wear that is noticeable is on the floor mats. The seats, front and back are exceptional!! The bluewater metallic with the caramel interior is absolutely a gorgeous rare combination. I have had many positive comments from many people on the colors. The car is completely loaded, with power everything and a 6 CD changer in the trunk. I recently have had the car serviced with new spark plugs and fuel injectors. The tires only have 4k miles on them and the wheels have no rash at all. I also replaced the computer module on this car because it was having some intermittent problems. All of the work has been done at Sandia BMW with records being available. This car needs nothing and it is ready to go for its new owner!! BMW M3 gets the video retrospective treatment
Mon, 10 Jun 2013With BMW on the cusp of pulling back the sheets on its next-generation M3 (or should we say, M4?), the crew from Electric Federal has taken it upon themselves to give us a generation-by-generation look at the evolution of the most renowned of BMW's sports coupes. The video below features plenty of beautiful shots of each generation of M3, starting with the ever lust-worthy E30 before finishing up with the current iteration. BWS Motorsport's Mark Norris provides the narration, complete with a brief synopsis of what makes each generation so special.

BMW reacquires original factory as classic center
Thu, 27 Feb 2014BMW was barely two years old when it started manufacturing airplane engines in a factory on Moosacher Strasse in Munich. Two years after that, it sold the factory to Knorr-Bremse AG, a leading manufacturer of brakes for trains and commercial vehicles, and BMW moved into a new facility on Lerchenauer Strasse. There it expanded into the industrial giant we know today, building engines for cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and planes. It's taken the better part of a century to get that original factory back, but that's exactly what BMW has done, reacquiring the expanded facility from Knorr-Bremse this month.
The factory on Moonsacher Strasse will now serve as the headquarters for BMW Group Classic, the division that handles archives and historical vehicles for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce. From there, just a stone's throw from corporate headquarters and its main plant (as well as BMW Welt and the BMW Museum), the classic division's operations will include a restoration workshop, vintage parts store, the company's archives, administration as well as a place to hold events. In addition, there will be an exhibition space for historical vehicles from the company's considerable collection.
At the heart of the new/old campus is the gatehouse, which is a protected heritage site and will serve as a gateway into the company's history. Read the full details in the press release below.
