I have my beloved 2002 BMW M3 for sale! I would rather not sell her but my wife and I are having a child so I bought a more practical vehicle. The car has just been taken out of storage after my deployment with the Marines. I am the third owner of this vehicle, title in hand. All of the owners including myself babied this car from the beginning, garage kept; it has not even been driven in the rain during its life!!! It’s very clean for its age. Black on grey, six speed manual coupe with 55,000 miles. Thats incredible for a car thats 12 years old. She has A LOT of aftermarket parts. Umnitza Angel Eyes BiXenon headlights auto leveling, Oil change every 3k miles, royal purple Synchromax tranny fluid (to smooth out the shifts), Turner Tuning sub-frame reinforcements (to correct the infamous sub-frame ripping), Supersprint type headers, Magnaflow full exhaust X pipe, mechanical 02 simulators, upgraded 4:10 differential, custom short shift kit (shorter throws without the notchiness), AFE intake system, upgraded spark plugs, new coil packs, clutch delay valve removed, clutch stop, Vorsteiner GTR carbon fiber hood, Active Autowerke performance software upgrade, Vorsteiner diffuser, OEM BMW sport trunk spoiler, Reiger Tuning roof spoiler, blacked out kidney grills, painted bumper reflectors, molded brake duct inserts, upgraded industrial ballasts for angel eyes, HID fog light conversion, tinted windows, brushed aluminum trim inside, smoked corner lights, Turner Tuning aluminum race pedals, Bilstein PSS9 fully ride height and damper adjustable coil-over suspension system, Maya STM staggered fitment wheels.  New summer performance tires on front and rear.  New fuel filter and cabin air filter installed. Other extras included. Willing to consider REASONABLE offers, I know what the car is worth. 610- three nine two one two zero one.

2014 BMW 328d xDrive Sport Wagon

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

There's a running joke among auto writers that the perfect car would be a diesel-powered, rear-drive wagon with manual transmission and no power accessories whatsoever. It would only be available in brown and would somehow be as fun to drive as a Mazda MX-5 Miata. Makes total sense, right?
Realistically, no manufacturer is ever going to completely fulfill our wishes, no matter how much we beg, plead, kick and scream about our dream car that most of us would actually never buy. The best we can do is hope for a vehicle that mixes some aspects of this ideal journalist's car. And in today's world, that vehicle just might be the BMW 328d xDrive Sport Wagon.
No, it's not available with a manual gearbox, and power can only be sent through an xDrive all-wheel-drive system. It's also not available in brown (although both Mojave Metallic and Sparkling Bronze Metallic are acceptable stand-ins), but it ticks the two main boxes of being a diesel-powered wagon, one of only a couple such models in the United States.

BMW expects China to pass US as its top market in 2013

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

When you combine two billion citizens, 100 cities with more than a million inhabitants and an economy that's as unrestrained as Jim Cramer on an Adderall binge, China's explosive auto industry growth shouldn't be a huge surprise. Audi already lists the communist country as its largest market, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting it to be there in the next few years. Now, according to a report from Automotive News, BMW is expecting the People's Republic to overtake the United States in sales by the end of 2013.
We already discovered the extent that BMW is going to in establishing a dedicated Chinese stronghold, when we explored BMW's Shanghai-based DesignWorks studio ahead of April's Shanghai Motor Show. And while we argued that DesignWorks Shanghai hasn't really borne fruit, it isn't due to a lack of sales.
BMW China has seen a 16-percent jump in year-over-year sales, lead by a 28-percent gain in 5 Series sales. Part of BMW's growth strategy comes from an ever-expanding dealership network. Remember those 100 cities we mentioned with over one million people? According to Karsten Engel, CEO of BMW's Chinese operations, those 100-million-plus city dwellers don't have access to a premium dealership.

2015 BMW M4 Coupe

Mon, 12 May 2014

Launched out of the seat by a huge, unexpected dip in the road, yet still held largely in place by the smooth webbing of my safety belt, I clench my teeth waiting to come back to earth. A tenth of a second later, the M4 Coupe touches down and my body is slammed into the leather seat cushion. All of the air is forced out of my lungs upon landing, but the BMW's chassis, suspension and steering appear unfazed. Pleasantly surprised, I mash the accelerator to the floor in giddy pursuit of the car in front of me - an absolutely identical 2015 BMW M4 coupe.
A cavorting game of cat-and-mouse on a desolate twisty canyon in southern Portugal is an excellent way to explore the real-world driving dynamics and performance of BMW's all-new M4 Coupe. But to truly push it to the limit - without having to worry about oversize depressions in the asphalt - requires a dedicated racetrack. Graciously, my hosts have rented the famed Autódromo Internacional do Algarve racetrack, or Portimão circuit, for an afternoon of automotive debauchery.
It's hard to believe this passes for work.
