Rare 1991 BMW 850I Coupe Celebrity Owner

OVERVIEW: This is a rare find. This original CLASSIC 1991 BMW 850I was owned by a major celebrity Producer and Director. I do not have the release yet to mention his name and company, but interested parties can figure it out from the car fax. This is one of the true first supercars built. With original price tags of $80,000+, in 1991, it was BMW’s test bed for future cars with fly by wire technology and computers everywhere. Car is original down to still having the BMW phone installed and working and complete tool kit. If you are not familiar with this car please do the research.

This is 1991 BMW 850I #WBAEG2315MCB72269, has a Black exterior and  Black interior with gray trim and black wood panels.  It is the 12 cylinder engine, automatic trans with electronic stabilizer and traction control. It also has the optional Star Wheels. It is in excellent condition which I will outline below. Car has spent most of its life in either California or Arizona. All records of the car will come with it including all repair orders for 20 years. Car has been almost completely rebuilt as you will see from the records. I will also include original window sticker and manuals as well as repair manuals. Car had a list price of almost $80,000. It also came with the optional star wheels that are on the car.  Car has in storage and recently taken out and updated for use and now sale.  It has 153, 225 original miles on it. It is in excellent overall condition. I will detail all the work done to the car past and present. I will also represent the car to the best of my ability. But please realize this is a 24 year old vehicle and has not been driven a lot in the past few years. I only recently took it out of storage and have not driven it much. Clear NJ Title. Recently passed NJ State Inspection, and is inspected through 2015. I will list the major work done to the car over the years then go into a description.

                Drive Train:

                 Engine replaced, transmission rebuilt, new engine mounts

                 New Drive shaft, axles

                 Both Fuel pumps

                 New Anti-Freeze with all new hoses

                 Power steering pump and filter

                 AC Compressor and dryer and condenser, AC Valves

                 Spark plugs, Dis Caps and Rotors, spark plug wires

                 New Alternator with belts

                  New Radiator with thermostat and Fan Clutch, Water Pump

                  2 mufflers

                  Engine Oil and filter

                  2 air cleaners

               Suspension:

               Sway bar bushings, Sway Bar Links

               Rotors and Pads front and back

               Upper and lower control arms and Both Tie Rod ends

               4 wheel Alignment

               High speed V rated tires

              Electrical:

              2 new Group 93 Batteries this month

              New light bulbs

              Replaced all Main Computers and all new fuses and relays

              Replace front window motors, wiper motor, and sunroof motor

              Washer pump and bottle

              Climate Control unit with Cabin filters

BODY: The body is in excellent condition. It is rust free with only a few very minor paint imperfections.  It does have a few small dings (Dent Wizard will do it) from being in storage. All Glass is perfect. All rubber seals and weather strips in excellent condition as is rear window and sunroof. All bumpers are excellent.  Wipers, windows and pop up lights are all in excellent working condition. (Right rear window is intermittent.  Also has correct front spoiler with working fog lights and rear painted bumper side effects. Rear spoiler.  

SUSPENSION; The car has auto suspension stabilizers and four wheel disc brakes with ABS. The pads and rotors were replaced. Suspension and springs and shocks have been replaced. All tie rods, sway bars and bushings were replaced. Rear muffler and exhaust is excellent with correct rear four pipe tips.  Tires are very good V rated. Performance Wheels are optional BMW stars. I have a few extra suspension parts I will include with car.

ENGINE & TRANS:  The Engine runs perfectly as does the Auto Trans. The engine and Trans were both replaced with documentation.  No noises. The fuel pumps were replaced.  Fuel tank was cleaned. New AC compressor, condenser, climate control panel, (AC needs a charge from sitting. In storage) I replace the fuel sending unit.  New Radiator, fan and clutch fan. I also just changed the oil and all filters. I put in new dis. Caps, rotor, new spark plugs and wires. Changed and checked all hoses where needed. I replaced all computers, relays, sensors, fuses and wiring where needed. New anti-freeze. Small Trans leak from gasket.

INTERIOR:  The interior is excellent. Maybe one of the best around.  No rips or wear. All electrics work fine.  Dash is excellent with black wood grain finish. Seats are leather and are in perfect condition all power and heated. Door panels are excellent as well.  Rugs are excellent.  AC and heater work fine but AC could use a recharge. I replaced the cabin filters as well. Central locking systems works, as does the auto window and sunroof closing. Seats excellent all power with heaters.

ELECTRICAL:  Most all of the electrics in this car have been replaced. All the major computers including A5 and the main computer are new. All fuses are updated as well as all relays. Heard lights work fine. All wiring has been tested and retaped where needed and covered. On board computer works as does original radio in dash work great. Have all codes. All lights work fine as does all interior lights and delays.  All electrics in Dash are excellent. All other gauges work fine.  Check panel lights are on for brake sensor can be reset. All windows (right rear intermittent) and switches work, radio original BMW with CD player. All works, and AC works (but could use a recharge) and heater works fine. I replaced the cabin filters as well. Central locking systems works, as does the auto window and sunroof closing. Horns work fine.
