Excellent example of a true classic BMW. It is not a perfect car but with a small investment, this could be a true show stopper. I love this car but unfortunately for me it has to go, my budget will not allow me to maintain it...my lost is your gain. This car has super cold a/c , 18 BMW wheels wrapped with Nitto tires(practically new), updated braking system with disc breaks on all 4, comes with 2 sets of aftermarket remotes and 2 keys. The code alert alarm system has the automatic start feature and numerous options The car has been garaged and parked since ownership. A good tune up and minor maintenance would do this car plenty of justice. Typical dings and pings but overall the paint job is in good condition. There's no noticeable rust on this vehicle.This vehicle runs like a sewing machine, it does not smoke or burn much oil and it is fully functional.
The Bad: Some of the most noticeable discrepancies are as follows.
1)Fuel gage is not accurate but the low fuel light comes on when the fuel is below 1/4 tank.
2)Need a front end alignment or new tire rods.
3)Valve cover gasket on the passenger side need replacing.
4)Rear shade screen is stuck in the up position(simple fix)
5)Slight hesitation( about 3 seconds) in the transmission when going from park to drive... all other gears are fine.
6)Glove compartment door is out of alignment...simple fix.
7)Headliner in the rear is beginning to sag...hardly noticeable.

2016 X6 M brings the power at LA show
Wed, 19 Nov 2014BMW tore the cover off the second generation 2016 X6 M Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
BMW tuned the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 to push out 567 horsepower, up from the last model's 555 hp. Torque also leaps to 553 pound feet, compared with the previous output of 500 lb-ft. The V8 is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which swaps in for the old six-speed. This potent powertrain allows the crossover to hit 60 miles per hour in about four seconds.
The X6, which features slightly more dramatic styling and an angled rear roofline, debuted alongside the more conventionally styled 2016 BMW X5 M at the LA show.
BMW-Toyota sports car heading towards Tokyo debut
Mon, 20 May 2013Earlier this year, BMW and Toyota confirmed a four-part joint venture mostly focusing on increasing improving vehicle efficiency using fuel cells, lightweight materials and better battery technology. Also tucked into the announcement was a "feasibility study" for a shared platform to underpin a future midsize "sports vehicle."
In terms of the latter, it seems that things have stepped up from the feasibility stage to the conceptual stage, as Motor Trend reports we could see a pair of new sports car concepts debut later this year in at the Tokyo Motor Show. There isn't much information about the new program, but the article suggests the sports cars could be all-wheel drive hybrids, with electric motors powering the front wheels and a gas engine powering the rear wheels. While a partnership between Toyota and BMW might not lend itself to a catchy portmanteau like "Toyobaru," here's hoping it will bear fruit that is as exciting as the ones produced by the Toyota/Subaru tie up.
2016 BMW 7 Series spied for the first time ever
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Ladies and gentlemen, Bimmerphiles and automotive voyeurs of all stripes: here is your next-generation BMW 7 Series. Captured in photographs for the first time ever while doing a spot of cold-weather testing in Sweden, this newly slim 7er will most likely debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 and launch in the 2016 model year.
Sources indicate that BMW is targeting a much lighter curb weight for the 7 Series, and will use learnings gained with the i3 and i8 development to add carbon fiber-reinforced plastics in the construction. In return we'd expect the new model - which uses the internal model designation "G11" - to offer improvements in handling, acceleration and fuel economy. As with the current 7 Series lineup, expect the engine range to include turbocharged inline-six engines, one or more V8s and a V12 option.
It's fair to say that, with the car's debut still years down the road, that BMW will work to launch with an impressive suite of in-car technology, too. A completely new version of iDrive shouldn't be ruled out. These shots mark the beginning of a long journey to 2015, and we expect to have loads more information to share in the coming months and years, so stay tuned.
