Up for sale is my 2005 e60 BMW 525i daily driver like 545i 550i M5 but with great MPG! I have to close on a property so I need the cash. This 5 series has been a reliable daily driver for me for over a year and a half now. All maintenance Has been done... Oil - fluids +++... I now have about 15-18 grand in this car. it has a previous salvage title now it has a restored rebuilt title. I have before pics upon request also the receipts of what I paid for the car before as it was allot more then i am asking plus about 5,000 in parts not including the labor wheels tires and new brakes..add a few more grand on top. OE BMW parts were used. and I can prove this. U can say i will take a big hit but I already made the deposit on the Property I am purchasing. I need the cash by Thursday or i will not sell it for this low price. The original damage was very Minor however lots of $ to fix. BMW now has 93,000 Actual miles. I will have the title Notarized and ready (it's in my name of course) No check engine light no mechanical issues what so ever. Over 32 MPG on high way still with plenty of power to pass :) have cash ready if U want 2 test drive. Note: The hood still needs some minor hard ware however car is completely drive able anywhere.. My BMW will have a few hundred more miles on it then stated as it is currently my daily driver. I WILL PROVIDE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP.. BMW M3 and M4 CSL not in the cards
Mon, 27 Jan 2014We aren't sure whether to file this one under "good news" or "bad news." BMW confirmed to Top Gear that there "are no plans" for lightweight versions of the new M3 and M4, in the same vein as the E46 M3 CSL (despite rumors to the contrary). The reason?
"There wasn't a CSL on the previous generation, and the way we look at it is like this: the CSL was great because it had this real focus on lightweight engineering. But we've already done that with these new cars. We've made them as light as possible - they come in under 1500 kilograms (3,306 pounds), which for a car like this is incredible," said Matt Collins, BMW's product manager for small to medium cars.
Now, as much as we love the idea of a hardcore version of any car, we appreciate BMW's point of view that the newest Ms are already as light and tough as they need to be. Collins elaborated, saying, "Rather than doing a halfway house to begin with and then rolling out a CSL, we thought we'd make the 'real' car as light as we possibly could. So we've no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet."
BMW bringing 9 Series concept to Beijing
Tue, 08 Apr 2014It appears that BMW is ready to take another step upmarket with a new concept flagship luxury sedan at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April. The showcar is said to preview the company's rumored 9 Series, a sedan that would be positioned against top trims of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, like the rumored S600 Maybach.
According to Automotive News Europe, the concept sedan wears styling language adapted from the curvaceous BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe (pictured above) shown at the 2013 Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in May. It rides on BMW's new, modular platform - codenamed G11 - for the company's largest cars, an architecture also expected to be shared with the next 7 Series and future Rolls-Royce vehicles. It's rumored to bring the weight of the 7 closer to the 5 Series, which would be several hundred pounds lighter when comparing the base models of both current vehicles. We spotted the next-gen 7 Series testing over a year ago, and both it and the 9 Series are expected to go on sale in 2016.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no official information about the concept. "We don't have any official news yet on anything in Beijing," Julian Arguelles, BMW USA spokesperson, tells Autoblog. However, it's heartening to think that BMW might be adapting the gorgeous shape of the Gran Lusso for production.

Wed, 25 Dec 2013Santa Claus might have his eight reindeer - or nine, when it's foggy - to help him deliver presents in most parts of the world, but in southern California, it looks like he's traded up from Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and company to BMW, Yamaha and Ducati. RNickeyMouse is usually the place to check out spectacular motorcycle crashes on video along LA's Mulholland Drive, but a recent video caught a trio of Santas carving up the iconic, twisty road.
The three Santas are together, riding what appears to be a BMW S1000RR, Yamaha R1 and a hard-to-tell custom bike that could be a Ducati 1098. The video, which is posted below, also catches a bonus Santa riding solo on another S1000RR. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a cool bike!
