I am the second mature owner of this loaded, twin turbo, 300HP 535xi. I am meticulous and keep my cars in excellent condition. As such, its an extremely well cared for car that needs absolutely nothing - and everything works. Never been smoked in, very quick & sure-footed and handles exceptionally well in all road and weather conditions.

Put a brand new set of top-of-the-line Toyo tires on the car in March (I like them better than the Michelin's they replaced) and had a 4 wheel alignment done. I also purchased a transferable 100% road hazard warranty that the new owner will appreciate.

All recall items addressed by BMW dealer

All service done at BMW dealer - 80,000 mile check up and oil change done then as well - all records on the car on file with BMW as the previous owner used only BMW service as well. Town Fair noticed that the front control arm bushing was a bit worn so I had the BMW dealer change them along with the oil change. The car has some normal stone chips of a car this age but aren't really large enough to show up in photos. Annual detailing (inner and outer) and leather treatment performed at a local detail shop. BMW and Mini shuffle NA management, McDowell to retire

BMW and Mini recently shuffled top personnel in their design departments, and now BMW of North America will reorganize its management to improve customer relations. Peter Miles (pictured), currently the executive vice president of operations, will take a newly created position, vice president of sales channel development and customer relations, while Jim McDowell, vice president of Mini of the Americas, will retire.
Chris Koenders, president of BMW Group Netherlands, will move take Miles' spot as executive vice president of operations. David Duncan, western region vice president, will take McDowell's job as vice president of Mini of the Americas. Finishing off the management switcharoo is Peter Witt, who will move from his current position as Managing Director of BMW Sweden to take Duncan's job as western region vice president.
"We are intensifying our customer-driven focus and these changes will influence the entire organization to continue improving all phases of the customer journey from prospect to purchase and throughout the ownership cycle," says Ludwig Willisch, president and CEO of BMW NA. Drifting can be dangerous for spectators, too

Okay kids, here's your lesson for the day. When you go to a motorsports event (that isn't a rally), there are these things called walls. They're big and hard. There might be stacks of tires in front of them. There are also these things called barriers, catch fences and run-off areas. They exist to protect you, the spectator, when something inevitably goes wrong on the track.
If you don't have these things, you probably shouldn't be watching whatever four-wheeled mayhem is taking place. This gentleman learned that the hard way, after getting a bit too close while some hoon drifts his BMW 3 Series.

BMW dishes on 'lightweight' 2014 M4

BMW's M cars are not what we'd call featherweights. Sure, the big, bruising twin-turbocharged V8s deliver a lot of power, but the fact of the matter is that more weight often equates to less fun.
Which is why we're so excited over a recent sit-down the blokes at Top Gear had with BMW's product manager for small and medium cars, Matt Collins. The chat led to talk of the M3 Coupe replacing M4. Collins confirmed that, yes, the new M4 would be turbocharged. The new engine will also be a six-cylinder, which should make purists happy.
