 2001 BMW 325Ci Convertible

VIN: WBABS33491JY41889

THERE ARE OVER 70 IMAGES OF THIS CAR SHOWN BELOW!

DESCRIPTION:

This NO RESERVE auction is for a spectacular looking 2001 BMW 325Ci convertible. This particular vehicle is truly a treasure and it has been pampered for its entire life. This E46 series is the 4th generation evolution of the vaunted 3-series BMW cars. They have been consistently rated year after year as one of Car and Driver Magazines "10 Best". The original owner is in possession of this car and it has fewer than 38,000 original miles on the odometer for an average of just over 3000 miles of driving per year! It has always been garaged and was never involved in an accident. The owner is a non-smoker and the entire interior and exterior of the car is immaculate.

This beautiful classic convertible is fully loaded and has most of the options that were available including heated memory seats and the Harman/Kardan stereo system with a 6-CD changer. There are extra speakers everywhere and the rich looking Myrtle Wood was also an order upgrade. The black fabric top looks brand new and the mechanism articulates with a steady and smooth transition. This car not only looks fantastic but it produces plenty of usable horsepower from the 3-Litre power plant and it has perfectly positive shifting through the the 5-speed manual transmission. All of the original books, introduction tape, keys, remotes and other incidentals are still intact, present and in like new condition.

This handsome looking BMW has always been adult owned, driven and cared for. Nit-pickers will go insane looking for faults on this car. With the exception of a couple of minor tiny flea bites in the finish and very slight wear on the driver's seat bolster, we were unable to find any condition issues. The two front tires are showing wear but the rears are brand new and so is the battery. The front hood badge has finish voids, so a brand new one will replace it before the car is picked up. It is a pleasure for us to present a driving machine that was so well cared for.

In all regards this BMW 325Ci didn't disappoint us. It is an exceptionally nice automobile. If you have been waiting to find a great one, give this auction your most serious consideration. There is an abundance of additional general information about these cars on the internet if you are looking for more technical data or performance details. Please refer to the recent CARFAX REPORT to assure yourselves of the flawless, one owner history: 2001 BMW 3 SERIES (WBABS33491JY41889)

As with all of our eBay Motors listings we try to let our high resolution photographs tell the story about the vehicles that we are selling. We have photo shots from every possible angle in slightly different lighting conditions. If you study our clear multiple images very carefully, you will see exactly what this stellar looking BMW is all about.

The clear images of this vehicle, shown below, will do a much better job of describing the look, style, condition and value of this BWW than our words ever could. We invite questions and comments and there is NO RESERVE on this auction!

2015 BMW i8: Autoblog Technology of the Year finalist

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

Traditionally, nominations for the Autoblog Technology of the Year award are earned for specific developments - a new-think powertrain, a uniquely developed material, a groundbreaking smartphone app, or what have you. In the case of BMW's marvelous i8, it so bristles with novel applied sciences and fresh features that we broke with tradition and nominated the entire car.
We just couldn't help ourselves. Oh, we could've focused on the i8's carbon-fiber monocoque, or its well-resolved plug-in-hybrid powertrain that incorporates a tiny 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, or its seamless through-the-road all-wheel drive. This is a car that will even have frickin' laser beams for headlights - at least it will for our friends in Europe (and it will in the US, should our legislators ever catch up).

2014 BMW X5 priced from $53,725*

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

A month after the official curtain was dropped, BMW has seen fit to release pricing information on its new 2014 X5 crossover. The X5 sDrive35i, which is the first rear-wheel-drive version of the X5, will begin at $53,725 (*including $925 for destination and handling) while the traditional all-wheel-drive X5 xDrive35i will begin at $56,025. Both feature BMW's well-regarded 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo N55 engine with 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
The 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35d (Have these convoluted names confused you yet?) is priced at $57,525 with its 3.0-liter diesel engine (255 hp and 413 lb-ft), and, finally, the TwinPower Turbo V8-powered X5 xDrive50i (445 hp and 480 lb-ft) will start at $69,125. Buyers looking to customize their X5 experience can choose from the Luxury Line, xLine or M Sport packages, plus Ivory White and Mocha Interior Design Packages. Regardless of which engine is chosen, the X5 will come equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
For comparison, the 2013 X5 xDrive35i started at $48,425. That means the price has increased by over $5,000 despite not including standard all-wheel drive or by $7,600 when comparing apples to apples with similar six-cylinder engines and power to all four wheels. The V8 model increased by $4,000 and the diesel, interestingly enough, dropped by $100.

Giles Taylor succeeds Ian Cameron as head of Rolls-Royce design

Thu, 28 Jun 2012

Back in the day, a Rolls-Royce looked pretty much the same as a Bentley, but with a different grille. Once BMW took over Rolls-Royce, however, it was faced with the challenge of visually separating itself from its former sister brand. And most would agree that it did so pretty well. But its cars have looked pretty much the same ever since. What Rolls-Royce needs, then, is a bit of a design shake-up. And that's just what this latest appointment could bring.
After a baker's dozen years as design director at Rolls-Royce (and twenty years designing for the BMW Group altogether), Ian Cameron is retiring from his post. In his place, Rolls-Royce has named Giles Taylor as its new director of design. In his new capacity, Taylor will report directly to BMW Group chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk, and be responsible for all design matters related to the Rolls-Royce brand and its products.
Taylor was promoted to the role from his previous position as head of exterior design for the marque, a position he's held for barely more than a year. We'll be eagerly watching to see what the veteran British car designer has in store for the future of Rolls-Royce. In the meantime you can read the full announcement below.
