Here's a gem for you...a beautiful, one-owner, metallic black (Black Sapphire Metallic) 2008 BMW 335i Convertible with a rare 6-speed manual transmission and lots of highly-desirable/tasteful modifications (almost $18,000 in modifications!).

I am selling this car with MAJOR regrets because this car is just flat-out fantastic and drives like a dream (don't want to sell, but need to make room for a future car).  This car was purchased and ordered brand-new from the BMW factory in Germany and ordered exactly how I wanted it.  Oh, man, this is painful!...whoever gets this car will be one lucky new owner!

To start, let's go through the "bad" news and the "good" news on this car:

First, here's the "bad" part:  these were mainly cosmetic incidents and car looks amazing and was repaired by a well-respected, high-quality shop
- In 2008, car sustained hail damage during a freak hailstorm...it was fully repaired to practically brand-new condition at Wagonwork in Alexandria, VA...can't even tell it was ever dinged! (no re-painting was needed at all)

- In 2010, right front fender/wing cracked from going over a pothole...again, it was fully repaired/replaced and painted at Wagonwork in Alexandria, VA

Now, here's the GOOD stuff!...car is in excellent condition...pics included:

BMW shows off 435i Coupe with M Performance parts

Sat, 20 Jul 2013

Greetings from the famous Circuito do Estoril racetrack in Portugal. We're here to put the 2014 BMW 4 Series coupe through its paces, and we'll have the chance to sample the updated 2014 BMW M5 with its new Competition Pack, as well. But before going out for some hot laps, we took a few minutes to check out this 435i Coupe that's been fitted with a full suite of goodies from the BMW M Performance parts catalog.
Starting with the exterior, carbon fiber bits are the most noticeable additions, with the lightweight material added in the form of a massive front splitter, mirror caps and a rear spoiler. Other visual changes include lightweight 20-inch wheels, a blacked-out grille, and unique M Performance side stripes. No, that's not a shadow you see under the 435i's strong side character line - that's a stripe. Yes, we're serious.
Inside (we couldn't get photos of the interior, sorry!), BMW has added its sport steering wheel with race display, unique M floormats, steel pedals, and a whole mess of carbon fiber and Alcantara trim.

2015 BMW M3 is fast for the family man

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

BMW finally brought its four-door M3 into the public view, showing the new sedan off at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. The new M3 represents BMW's return to small, wildly fast four-door sedans after a several year absence following the discontinuation of the E90 M3 Sedan way back in 2011.
The M3 enjoys the same 425-horsepower, 3.0-liter six-cylinder used in the M4, with 406 pound-feet of torque and the owner's choice of either an old-fashioned six-speed manual or a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission. All told, the new powertrain should scoot the four-door M to 60 in a mere 3.9 seconds (with the M DCT).
We've got a full gallery of live images of the all-new M3 up above, and we've included the original stock gallery down below. Feel free to peruse either, and then let us know what you think by sounding off down in Comments.
