2003 Bmw 330i Base Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars

I have up for sale a 2003 BMW 330i Sports Sedan. Even though a few years old, this car has been driven very little in it's life with a yearly average under 9000 miles. The BMW 330i was built to accommodate those that wanted an M3 with 4 doors. BMW didn't make M3 Sedans that particular year so decided to give us something as close to it as they could, and this car is held has one of the finest ever made, for it's agility and functionality which is why I bought one.
I bought this car last summer as a gift for working so hard to finish college but I just dont get to drive it as much as I'd like as I live in manhattan, land of cabs and door dings. So after i got it painted recently and noticed it already had a ding on it from sitting on street i put it up in storage and it just is sitting there waiting on someone to drive it. I truly love BMW and this is a good one, which is why i'm offering a personal 30 day warranty against engine or transmission failure to the new owner for up to 300 cash back. Most dealer will not go near that on a car over 5 yrs old. But I trust this car.

Issues: The sunroof does not retract. However it does still have tilt up function.
I have reconditioned the seat and carpet but keep in mind it's a used car so it will not look brand new and may have blemishes to it.
The cutsom rims are a little wider and bigger than factory and if you hit a huge bump with 4 people in car you may hear it slightly rub the top of the fender, this is harmless to the car. I had the "fenders rolled" professionally (google if you don't know what it means)  to accommodate  the rims and keep any harm from coming to the tires and it handles, takes off, and drives better than with factory rims. The rims are only 8 months old and tires have maybe 1,500 miles on them and can go another 25,000 easy.
One of the speakers may be slightly blown but it's hard for me to tell. It usually sounds just fine even turned up loud. The surround system stereo works and all steering functions work perfectly.

Since I've owned the car a year this is what I've had done:
A 2 month old paint job that cost (1500.00)
New Ball joints and Tie Rods (700.00)
Computer update recently fully serviced, abs sensors replaced (250.00)
Custom Xenon Auto-leveling Headlights (400.00)
Window Tint, legal in all 50 states (150.00)
Installed another air filter system form used BMW (200.00)
Replaced cabin filter (50.00)
Custom Rims (2,000.00) - Biggest purchase! (but doesnt it look sexy with those damn rims!)
Radio MP3 system, and i'll even throw in my old iphone 4 that really is crap as a phone but works fine as a mp3 player (400.00)

I'll also give you for free the factory rims that came on the car that are still in great condition-

Also on the report there is a utility pole comment about the car having an accident on the carfax. The previous ower simply backed into a pole coming out of his driveway slowly and scarped off paint. I bought it and had the car repainted so there's no way to see the chipped paint now.

BMW 1 Series dead for 2014

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

BMW is temporarily abandoning the increasingly competitive and popular compact luxury segment, as it's announced that its 1 Series Coupe and Convertible will be discontinued for the 2014 model year, marking an ignominious end to a line that spawned a pair of excellent high-performance models during its life. Production on the Coupe officially ended in August, while convertible production was taken offline in June.
And while we're mourning the loss of the 1 Series, we're left wondering about the status of its replacement, the 2 Series. That car, which we've already seen inside and out and know the specs on, is expected to make its debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, although it's unclear just how quickly BMW will get it to showrooms. Assuming BMW doesn't have a bumper crop of already-built 2013 models to hold them over, that leaves Munich-based manufacturer somewhat vulnerable, particularly as Audi and Mercedes-Benz are both launching new models in the compact-premium space vacated by the 1 Series. Any delay in the arrival of the 2 Series could be bad news for BMW, especially if the public is receptive to the new Audi A3 and CLA-Class (early signs suggest that the baby Benz has traction).
In addition, BMW has made a number of changes across the rest of its lineup which are listed below in the official press release. Some of the notable changes, though, include a revised 445-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 on the 5 Series, a limited-edition Frozen Brilliant White Edition for the 6 Series and the rollout of a new, touchpad-equipped version of iDrive on a number of BMW models. Scroll down for the full press release from BMW.

These are the top luxury cars bought by people entering the segment for the first time

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

Let's say you just got a big promotion at work or the kids are moving out of the house, and you finally have some extra money. You decide to blow it all at once and treat yourself by upgrading your ride. Naturally, you look to a luxury automaker. What do you choose?
Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.

2015 BMW i8 sets everyone's tongues wagging in Northern Michigan

Fri, 31 Oct 2014

Like few other cars we can remember, people want to talk about the 2015 BMW i8. Drive one, and you'll soon find out what we mean. They stop you at gas stations. They accost you in Walgreen's parking lots. They stream out of neighborhood bars, beers in hand.
At least, that was our experience this week during Autoblog's Technology of the Year testing. We had the pleasure of driving the plug-in hybrid BMW sports car up to and around Petoskey, MI, a resort town where seeing such exotics is rare enough, let alone in the off season. It made for some interesting conversations - so we began writing down some of the comments the butterfly-doored coupe inspired. Here's a sampling:
"Wanna race for pinks? I'll go easy on you." - Acne-covered teenage pizza delivery driver in a sad-looking Ford Taurus parked at a Valero gas station near Grayling (which incidentally didn't actually have gas).
