2001 Bmw 330xi on 2040-cars
Highland Lakes, New Jersey, United States
Up for auction is a very nice 2001 BMW 330xi. The previous owner of the vehicle was a young businessman who bought the car when it was new. I purchased the vehicle from him. As the owner of an automotive detailing company, I detailed the vehicle twice yearly since 2007. In 2010, I purchased the car, knowing it was well cared for. I am selling it to reinvest the money into the detailing business. Despite the high miles, the BMW is in great shape. The paint looks great. The interior is in very good condition. Mechanically, the car runs flawlessly. The car performs and handles well, while getting about 28-mpg highway. This is the 330 with all wheel drive and an automatic transmission. It has the sport package and is fully loaded, with the exception of the cold weather package. It has memory seats and mirrors. I have every service record, since the car was new. The BMW has been garaged since new.
I hate to sell my BMW. Despite the high miles, it was well cared for and is in mechanically excellent condition. The reserve is $5300. |

BMW web sales plan opposed by German dealers
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Tesla isn't the only manufacturer that is facing a backlash over its plans to sell cars directly to customers. BMW is under fire from its German dealerships over its desire to sell its cars via the internet.
BMW has plans to sell the new i3 through the World Wide Web, while a "Mobile Sales Force" will be making house calls. According to Automotive News Europe, Head of German Sales Roland Krueger told German weekly Wirtschaftswoche, "We can imagine that Internet sales could be expanded to all models." This is the particular caveat that has traditional brick-and-mortar dealers so up in arms.
According to the head of BMW's German dealerships Werner Entenmann, "We told BMW in no uncertain terms that we cannot accept direct sales channels." Reuters reports that an anonymous dealer has gone so far as to pledge not to use the sales force in Germany. Krueger, for what it's worth, told Wirtschaftswoche that the "backbone" of BMW sales will still be traditional dealerships.

BMW teases 2 Series Coupe ahead of October 25 debut
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Although it was finally just confirmed that the last of the BMW 1 Series coupes and convertibles went out of production months ago, we won't have to wait very long to see this model's replacement, the all-new 2 Series. BMW released a teaser video for its new coupe today and also announced that the 2 Series will officially debut on October 25.
We may still have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see it up close and in person, even though both the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show are nearly upon us. Either way, it's not clear when the 2 Series will roll into dealerships. Considering we've already seen the coupe sitting out mostly undisguised for a photo shoot, there really isn't much to see in terms of styling of the car in this sun-drenched, dirt-slinging teaser. BMW does say that this is the first trailer ahead of the 2 Series' unveiling, so there are likely to be more to follow the video seen below.
