For sale is my 1999 BMW 328is coupe. These cars are very rare in this year and body style. Since I have owned the car I have never seen another car like it on the road. It is a great car and I am sad to sell it. The only reason I have for selling it is because I am looking for a convertible. Some things to know about the car...
133,4xx well maintained miles. (Most are highway) White exterior, tan interior 2.8 liter straight six engine Automatic transmission Full upgraded sound system as well as 10" sub and kenwood amp. Black Plasti-Dipped rims (can be easily removed if you don't like them) Some small signs of wear and tear, not surprising for a 1999 (2 small rust spots) New tires put on a few months ago as well and new radiator, water pump, new brakes (calipers, rotors, pads) and all new cooling system. Within the past year there has been all new rear suspension, shocks, and springs. (I have all receipts and service records) The engine is in perfect working condition and runs strong. BMW announces M235i xDrive, 7 Series Exclusive among summer upgrades
Tue, 13 May 2014Like any automaker worth its lug-nuts, BMW is constantly striving to improve its products. And so it has announced a series of upgrades for the summer - none of them revolutionary, but a couple of them notable.
For one, the Bavarian automaker has announced that is is offering xDrive traction on the M235i coupe, a model that has been available until now only in rear-drive configuration. The all-wheel drive version comes with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six with 326 horsepower (320 in the US market) and eight-speed automatic transmission as the rear-drive version, but now channels that power to all four wheels for a 0-62 time quoted at 4.6 seconds - two little ticks quicker than the existing version. It's the first time that all-wheel drive is being offered on the 2 Series, and will also be fitted on the convertible - at least, that is, in Europe. We're waiting on confirmation of North American availability.
Among the other announcements is a special edition of BMW's flagship luxury sedan. The 7 Series Exclusive Edition upgrades with metallic paint, 19-inch V-spoke alloys, Nappa leather upholstery and a leather-trimmed instrument panel. Buyers will also be able to opt for the Merino fine grain leather and Alcantara roof lining from the BMW Individual catalog, and choose between any available engine or either wheelbase lengths.
BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.
