Runs and drives good.  2.5 liter inline six, 4 speed automatic.  Newer timing belt, brakes, tires, struts, battery, windshield, power steering pump, radiator, wiper blades etc.  Good body, no rust, just minor chips and dings.  Good top, folds manually under a hard cover (inside liner a little worn).  Interior ok for it's age, has seat covers over worn original seats.  152,138 miles.  I have over $2500 in receipts from the last owner for the work he had done.

Great summer/second car.  NADA list the value at $4200 on the low end.  Most everything still works, but keep in mind this is an original 26 year old car.  For example, the doors only lock from the outside with the central locking system and the passenger lock works the best.  Cruise does not work and I have no idea if the air works, heat works fine.  The important things like all the lights and the radio work fine.  Car drives nice and tight with no rattles.  The engine has the typical valve train noise, you can see Youtube video's that demonstrate it.  Nothing wrong at all, just the way the factory set the clearances makes the tick.

Nice car, open to serious offers, CASH preferred.  Feel free to send me questions or call/text 269 270 8188 Brian..........Need payment asap as my wife and I are heading out of town on the 19th of April.  Will assist in shipping, try uship or I can get contacts for local shippers.

BMW M3 gets the video retrospective treatment

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

With BMW on the cusp of pulling back the sheets on its next-generation M3 (or should we say, M4?), the crew from Electric Federal has taken it upon themselves to give us a generation-by-generation look at the evolution of the most renowned of BMW's sports coupes. The video below features plenty of beautiful shots of each generation of M3, starting with the ever lust-worthy E30 before finishing up with the current iteration. BWS Motorsport's Mark Norris provides the narration, complete with a brief synopsis of what makes each generation so special.
As usual, the clip is fit for big-screen viewing. You can watch the action below for yourself. Meanwhile, we'll be busy figuring out which vital organs we can sell to get our hands on our own E30 M3.

BMW revises X1 to tide it over until replacement

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

It's been over five years since BMW first introduced the X1 at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and a bit over a year since it brought the compact crossover to these shores. Soon the Bavarian automaker will replace the X1 with a new model based on the company's new front-drive architecture, but not before it gives it a few updates to keep it fresh.
Set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next month alongside the Z4 Pure Fusion Design and the new M3 sedan and M4 coupe, the enhanced X1 benefits from some new exterior accents, a spruced-up interior and new technology packed inside.
New air intakes in the bumper and integrated daytime driving lights distinguish the front end, with new wheel and color options available. Inside, certain versions get a new dashboard treatment, among other minor trim updates, and BMW has installed its latest ConnectedDrive suite to keep it up with the times. Scroll down for the full details.

BMW Concept Roadster has two fewer wheels than we were expecting

Fri, 23 May 2014

The annual Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como is an opportunity for some of the most beautiful vehicles in the world to descend on one of the poshest places on earth each year. Unsurprisingly, the event is also increasingly the chance for automakers to debut exclusive concepts to some of the wealthiest auto enthusiasts in the world. In the last few years, BMW has become the masters of this annual unveiling with automotive concepts like the Gran Lusso Coupé, BMW Zagato Coupe and motorcycles like the the gorgeous Concept 90, not to mention the just-revealed Mini Superleggera Vision. But this year the Bavarian automaker has been somewhat tricky.
What would you first think when you heard of the BMW Concept Roadster? A lithe, two-seat convertible? Nope. This roadster is a cut-down, minimalist motorcycle with an ultra-modern design. As opposed to the retro looks of the Concept 90, this naked bike looks like it could fit in a BMW showroom tomorrow and not seem out of place.
The Concept Roadster packs the brand's classic two-cylinder boxer engine displacing 1,170 cubic centimeters and producing 123 horsepower and 92 pound-feet of torque. That power is routed to the rear wheel via a cardan drive, essentially a driveshaft, with a single-sided swing arm rear suspension. It's all nestled in a tubular spaceframe.
