Up for auction is my 1981 BMW 320i. I have driven the car daily for the last 2 years and it has been very dependable, especially considering the age of the vehicle. The car accelerates very smoothly clear through to red line. It has been the most fun car to drive that I have owned. I drive this car often on trips that are over 100 miles long and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I hate to see it go but it is time for something larger. I believe I am the 3rd or 4th owner of the car and it was originally sold in California then brought here to Ohio in the mid 90's. The previous owner was a collector and he painted the car the Deep Orange color that it is today. He also installed the scorpion all stainless steel exhaust, Bavarian autosport short shift kit, and K&N filter on the car. The bumpers were also converted to sit closer to the body for a much cleaner look (similar to euro spec cars). Car was originally a dark brown color that is still in the trunk and engine compartment. Paint is very shiny and the car draws attention where ever it goes. Be prepared for conversation as people seem to have their own stories to tell about these cars. It has 120,000 miles and the engine runs strong with no leaks. I have put on new thermostat, clutch slave and master cyl, cold air injector, fuel regulator, and the fuel distributer was recently rebuilt. Emergency light switch is working! Tune-up maintenance items recently put on include new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Oil was just changed and new MANN filter is on the car. Ready to drive home today and begin enjoying! The KBB value has continued to rise over the last few years since I purchased the car. Very clean car overall with slight rust just below the rear window, inside of trunk. Interior is nearly in showroom condition with just a few small cracks on the dash. I have Bavarian autosport velour front seat covers that are included in the sale . Head Turner! Car has not been in an accident. Autocheck shows an police report that came when I backed into a farmers driveway and missed the drive. It slid off the drive into a small ditch and had to be pulled out by a wrecker. Homeowner called the sheriff and this is the "accident" that shows up on autocheck. So happy biddy!! All sales are local with pickup to be done by winning bidder within 5 days of auction ending. A $500 deposit is required after auction closes. Please contact me with any questions as I would be happy to answer any questions you have about my car.

2014 BMW 2 Series is a 1 and then some
Thu, 24 Oct 2013
Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i.
BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.
BMW M3 and M4 leak ahead of Detroit debut
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Images of the overhauled BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe have leaked ahead of a debut at next month's Detroit Auto Show, along with option sheets and some specs.
Both wear the standard hallmarks of BMW's M division. There's a subtle power dome in the hood, along with the requisite M3/4-branded strakes on the front fenders. The front and rear fascia are more aggressive than what we've seen in the 3/4 Series M Sport package, as well. Split-five-spoke wheels mean the neither car will stand out in the family portrait and those gold calipers, meanwhile, signify what has been rumored for some time - the M3 and M4 will be getting carbon-ceramic brakes.
The cabin is home to the standard suite of M accoutrements, including a new steering wheel and more heavily bolstered seats. Special trim, including carbon fiber, will be available to further set these cars apart from the standard models.
BMW 328d confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Late last year, some of BMW's future diesel plans for the US market were leaked, and we learned that a diesel-powered version of the 3 Series sedan (pictured above in 335i guise) would be coming in the first quarter of 2013. That report appears to be holding true, as BMW has just confirmed the debut of the oil-burning 328d sedan as part of the company's New York Auto Show plans.
The 328d will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine good for 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The rear-wheel-drive sedan will hit 60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds and fuel economy numbers could "well exceed" 40 miles per gallon. (Official EPA numbers will be released closer to the car's launch.)
Elsewhere on BMW's New York stand, the company will show off the 3 Series Gran Turismo that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, as well as the Concept Active Tourer that we first saw in Paris last fall. Scroll down for the official press blast.
