Car is in great condition! Most importantly it is rust free..It was purchased from the original owner.

I currently have a copy of the original title proving "one-owner" status, as well as the original manuals and diary where previous owner kept records of services. Some of the improvements done include the following: new gas tank and pump, new front brake calipers and rear cylinders, brand new custom made carpets, brand new interior, fully reupholstered to match the original seat color: blue, and fully serviced/inspected in all aspects (engine oil, interior, etc.) by Masterclass Auto.

The car is a 1974 BMW 2002 with a Tii engine, with european headlights, fully working A/C, and rare Alpina racing seats. Suspension is excellent! The interior smell is that if a brand new vehicle! The car also has its original radio and intact dash board. The exterior has a few dents, but they are so minor that it is not necessary to repaint the car.

Perfect car to collect and take out on Sunday drives to show-off and brag to your friends!

Feel free to contact my mechanic at Masterclass Auto. We will be happy to address any questions or concerns. His contact information is the following: Ronald Norat @ (305) 351-2012 Owner Number (786)546-7188

BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.

BMW M3 and M4 will rock 430 hp from twin-turbo six with standard manual [w/video]

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

We're not sure which spec we're most intrigued by for the new BMW M3 and M4: the twin-turbo six-cylinder with 430 horsepower and "far beyond" 369 pound-feet of torque, the 3,300-pound curb weight or the standard six-speed manual transmission with automatic throttle blipping on downshifts. That engine is fitted with both Valvetronic and Double-Vanos, twin-wire arc-spray coating in the cylinders instead of liners to save weight, a track-ready cooling system with additional radiators, a forged crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication and a magnesium oil sump. BMW says its "high revving concept" has a redline beyond 7,500 rpm.
In the M4, it will be pulling a coupe with "a weight of just under 1,500 kilograms," which is 3,300 pounds to you and me. That number is said to include no driver and 90 percent fuel, but we're still waiting on the exact number and specs. BMW says it's "around 80 kilograms lighter than a comparably equipped predecessor model," putting the power-to-weight ratio at something like 7.68 pounds per horsepower at the same time as it helps reduce fuel consumption by 25 percent. The use of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) for the roof, drive shaft (with no center bearing), trunk and front strut brace, and forged aluminum for suspension components, have aided in the weight loss. This time around, the sedan - the M3 - will also get a CFRP roof.
The default option will be a six-speed manual.

Meet the inventor of the BMW 3 Series wagon

Sat, 11 May 2013

It's hard to imagine, but once upon a time, there were only two BMW 3 Series variants: the coupe and sedan. Back before gran coupes, convertibles and yes, even touring models were available, buyers could only get their 3 Series fix if it came with two or four doors and a fixed roof. Back in the mid '80s, BMW engineer Max Reisbock was having some trouble fitting his whole family into his four door. Rather than suck it up and buy a van, he picked up a wrecked 3 Series and got to cutting in a buddy's garage. Months later, he had the very first 3 Series Touring ever built.
At first, he kept the the car to himself, using it to haul friends and family around, but he eventually showed it off to his friends at work. When the BMW executives found out about his project, they called him up to take a closer look. After putting an eyeball on the car, they took it, copied his design, made a few tweaks and quickly rolled out the first production 3 Series Touring. How's that for validation? Check out the video below for Reisbock's story.
