This car is in solid shape and is owned by my 74 yr old mother.  She is no longer is able to drive and so I am selling it for her at this time. She has not rallied it and quite frankly never took advantage of the spirited capabilities of the car. It has not been driven much in the last year.

In full disclosure here is what I know of the car:
It is a Canadian version, and is titled in WY. It has the original KM speedo (224,811 km ~ 139,200 mi)
Timing belt and water pump replaced two years ago.
New overflow reservoir.
4 New tires two years ago.
I have looked for the service records and cannot find them, she has Alzheimers and does not recall where they are.
The front struts should be replaced
The two gas-matic trunk lifts need to be replaced.
The AC system works, however would suggest the refrigerant be topped off.
Everything else is fully functioning.

Due to my mother's current condition, the title has been released with the signature of her power-of-attorney. Buyer will receive a copy of the power-of-attorney, with the title, as proper evidence and for your state's DMV.

For an album with considerable more photos than this listing go to Fotki and search "members" for kgmslc2010 and click on "albums".

Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. I will work with Buyer to be available for transport company to pick up car.

Audi moving ahead with Q1 crossover

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Audi crossovers have been getting smaller with each passing year. What started with the Q7 has since downsized to the Q5, then to the Q3, and now reports coming in from Germany reaffirm speculation that Ingolstadt is preparing to go one more size down with a Q1.
The new pint-sized premium crossover would likely share the platform that underpins the Volkswagen Polo and Audi's own A1. Although the architecture has already been modified to accommodate all-wheel drive, Autobild suggests that the Q1 would be a front-drive-only affair, which might limit its appeal somewhat, but then most buyers probably wouldn't opt for all-wheel drive anyway.

Audi targeting hipsters with A3 launch parties

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

Audi is planning quite a shindig for the launch of the A3 sedan, and it only wants young folks to show up. The Four Rings' new entry-level model will begin hitting showrooms later this month, and it is planning a launch party on April 3 at all of its roughly 280 dealers aimed at youthful, influential buyers - hipsters, for lack of a better word.
According to Automotive News, the company has sent a 64-page party-planning guide to its dealers on how to appeal these tastemakers in their late-20s to early-40s. The guide says the audience "should reflect an uncompromising spirit in a generation that refuses to settle or sell out." Audi never specifically uses the h-word in its marketing, which is good because it carries some negative connotations. However, recommendations like serving craft beer and bacon doughnuts and playing indie bands like Chvrches, Empire of the Sun and M83 certainly show that the automaker would love to gain some hipster-cred.
It may seem odd for a free spirits to desire a new Audi, but the carmaker might be playing the long con with these parties. Maybe they can't afford an A3 yet, but the $30,000 compact is likely close enough within their financial reach to at least be realistic. If the brand can appeal to them early, then they could be more likely to come back later when it's affordable.

2015 Audi TT picks up the style, pace with Xcar

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

With the original TT, Audi arguably valued style over substance. The equation reversed - at least to an extent - with the second-generation model. But with this latest MkIII version, the German automaker appears to have finally imbued its compact sports car with the performance to back up its runway looks.
That is, at least, what the team at Xcar has to say, having driven the latest Audi sports coupe on the rainy roads of Scotland - taking in its crisp lines, sharp handling, nippy performance and impressive technology along the way. But don't let us spoil it for you: Watch for yourself to see how the new TT measures up against its stylish forebears.
