I purchased this S4 from the Original Owner about two months ago after searching for many years for a well cared for, stock unabused example of an Imola yellow B5 S4. I had planned on doing a full timing belt kit which is the only maintenance that was not performed on this car. I am due with my first child on Monday June 30th and my boyfriend just lost his job. Due to the financial situation i will not be able to perform the timing belt kit and unfortunately need to sell this beautiful S4. Maintenance that was performed were both new axles and CV boots. O2 sensor, rear main seal. The interior of this car is flawless no wear and no rips or stains anywhere. The exterior is free of any dents or scratches and the only blemish would be the front bumper has some rock chips in it. Runs and drives wonderful, Shifts great, Turbos spool as they should. The car was well taken care of and never modded in any way. Female owned since brand new and never abused. I purchased the car and drove it home from South Florida 1200 miles and had Zero issues. Coolant and oil temperature stayed right where they were supposed to be and the car ran excellent. Since i got it home it has not been driven as i was waiting on the timing belt to be done. The only things that i could tell that it needs is a set of tires. I have a new set that i was going to install but never did but will if the price is right at the end of the auction. I have the car for sale locally and i already have some potential buyers but nothing set in stone as of now so i reserve the right to end the auction early. This is a great chance to own this beautiful car at a great price. If my financial situation was different i would be keeping this car but at this point i cannot.

Next Audi R8 to share hybrid tech with Lamborghini Asterion

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

The second-generation Audi R8 isn't far away, but when it arrives, it could serve to seriously shake up the supercar market according to Audi research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg.
Speaking to Car in the UK, Hackenberg confirmed quite unequivocally that a plug-in-hybrid model and a pure electric were coming. And as with the current R8, the next-gen model will borrow from Audi's Italian cousins at Lamborghini.
"We are able to make the R8 a plug-in hybrid," Hackenberg told Car. "The Lamborghini Asterion shows this is possible - that car uses the platform of the R8. We will see an increase in the efficiency of high-performance cars - they have to meet CO2 regulations of the future in order to survive."

Audi teases 700-hp Quattro Sport E-Tron concept for Frankfurt

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

Audi's trump card for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show has just been unveiled, sort of. It's called the Quattro Sport E-Tron Concept. Set to debut in a few weeks, sketches have been uncovered that show a few of the car's details, albeit in rough form. The news of a big-name Audi concept at Frankfurt has been swirling since June, when we first reported on it.
From the sketches, we see a car that has the same basic shape as the Quattro Concept from the 2010 Paris Motor Show, only with subtle tweaks and evolutions to a few features. The news isn't so much about the looks, though. It's the reports coming from Auto Zeitung and Audi enthusiast site Fourtitude.
Horsepower on the concept is expected to be in the neighborhood of 700 ponies - about 50 more than we initially thought - and will be split between a gas engine and an electric motor. Yup, that "E-Tron" name isn't just there for show. While it's not clear what the exact split will be between gas and electric power, we do know the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 found in the RS6 and RS7 will be sitting under the Quattro's hood, and that the bulk of the power will likely come from here. We may not have power figures on the hybrid system, but we do know this concept is capable of running for 21.7 miles on electric power alone.

2014 Audi SQ5

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

It may be obvious at this point, but here in the United States, European manufacturer routinely give us the short end of the stick. Now, I'm not talking about models or brands that don't come here, like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class or the entire Renault line. No, instead, I'm referring to cars that are sold right here in the Land of the Free in one bodystyle, while Europe enjoys the same vehicle with a wider variety of configurations.
A prime example of this is the Audi S4/S5 line. In America, we can have the supercharged twins in two-door coupe, four-door sedan, and cabriolet body styles. Meanwhile, our Euroland cousins get the same trio of bodystyles, as well as the A5/S5 Sportback, a characterful 'four-door coupe,' and a versatile hauler, the S4 Avant. At first glance, Audi of America lacks a vehicle that can compete with the latter's blend of performance, versatility and subdued looks. So, what's an American with around $60,000 and an obsession with quick, conservative haulers to do? Well, he can buy an SQ5. (Though it bears mentioning, our US-spec SQ5 is vastly different than what's available to our European friends.)
The SQ5 has a huge number of things going for it that make it a viable alternative to a proper hot wagon, and foremost among them are its looks - this is a sleeper. Audi has thankfully decided not to molest the clean looks of the standard Q5 when penning the sportier model.
