2004 Audi Allroad Quattro Wagon 5-door 2.7l Turbo on 2040-cars
Yuba City, California, United States
Selling my 2004 Audi Allroad 2.7 Twin Turbo Wagon. The odometer just turned 100K miles. The vehicle is in superb condition in and out. The exterior finish looks brand new, to be honest. See the pictures. I've just mounted brand new Pirelli tires that are a huge improvement over the previous Goodyear tires I replaced. I've just serviced the car by replacing the CV boots that were cracked. There have been no dash lights or other service indicators that I've noticed. The engine has been run exclusively with synthetic oil. The engine is a twin turbo V-6 and the transmission is a 5 speed automatic withi tiptronic and sport modes. This car has amazing power and is very fast on the freeway. The interior includes heated seats (front and rear) and dual climate control (front). The leather is in excellent condition. No rips, tears or worn spots. The Audi concert audio system is amazing. Nice full sound with none of that distorted buzz you hear in other lesser cars when cranking the volume up. The stereo includes a XM/Sirius radio (but I have not subscribed). This was my first car with the HID headlights and they are amazing. I have never had such a bright and clear view when driving at night. If you have questions please contact me. The pictures should tell most of the story though. |

Audi A3 E-Tron is a look at battery-operated things to come
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Audi officially unveiled the A3 Sportback E-Tron at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. While not a production model, the plug-in hybrid gives us a good glimpse at what the German automaker has in store for future products. The five-door gets around thanks to parallel hybrid drivetrain comprised of a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a small electric motor integrated into the vehicle's six-speed dual-clutch transmission. While the four-cylinder churns up 150 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, the motor contributes 100 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of twist. All told, the design allows the E-Tron to serve up its full power from just 1,750 rpm.
An 8.8-kWh lithium-ion battery sits under the floor beneath the rear seat, complete with a liquid cooling system designed to keep the pack in its optimum temperature range. The A3 Sportback E-Tron can be charged in as little as 2.5 hours with a 3.6-kW charger, yielding an EV range of up to 31 miles. The machine can also travel using the electric motor, ICE or a combination of the two for a total range of 584 miles. Check out the full press release below.
2015 Audi TT picks up the style, pace with Xcar
Mon, 03 Nov 2014With the original TT, Audi arguably valued style over substance. The equation reversed - at least to an extent - with the second-generation model. But with this latest MkIII version, the German automaker appears to have finally imbued its compact sports car with the performance to back up its runway looks.
That is, at least, what the team at Xcar has to say, having driven the latest Audi sports coupe on the rainy roads of Scotland - taking in its crisp lines, sharp handling, nippy performance and impressive technology along the way. But don't let us spoil it for you: Watch for yourself to see how the new TT measures up against its stylish forebears.
Audi SQ7 coming, will have electric turbo
Sun, 27 Jul 2014Formula 1 and endurance racing are already harvesting energy from turbos on the track, and now it's apparently time for a similar idea of boosting the efficiency of forced induction to hit the streets in a high-performance, diesel SUV.
In a recent interview with the UK's Autocar, Audi technical boss Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg let the big news slip. "The new Q7 will be available in the market next year but the electric turbo will come a bit later in the Audi SQ7 available in 2016," he said. The e-turbo system was already rumored for the premium SUV but for the standard model, not this just-announced performance version.
Audi has been experimenting with the e-turbo system for a little while, as an electrically driven supercharger. It showed up on the RS5 TDI concept that used a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged diesel V6 plus the electric system to diminish turbo lag. In that application, it provided an impressive 385 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque and an alleged sprint to 62 miles per hour in 4 seconds. Although, Dr. Hackenberg didn't make it clear if this was the exact layout for the SQ7.
