** 2006 Audi A8 Sport Incredible Condition 2 Owners All Records D4 20" Wheels ** on 2040-cars
Sacramento, California, United States
The time has come for me to part with my D3 A8. 2006 A8 Sport (SWB/ non-L). 123,XXX miles (not being driven much, but I can't say that it won't be driven a bit more since this has been posted). This has truly been a fantastic car while I've owned it. Full maintenance history since new. I am the second owner. Car needs nothing.
Heated and ventilated front seats with adjustable lumbar and thigh support and massage function Heated rear seats 2014 Nav database Ski sack Recent maintenance/ improvements: Professionally tinted windows Transmission "hoot" TSB/ fluid flush to "blue" LifeGuard 6+ fluid done at 50k Timing belt service (timing belt/ rollers/ water pump/ coolant flush) done at 90k Transmission flush to "green" LifeGuard 8 fluid at 100k Front/ Center/ Rear diffs flushed at 100k MMI assembly overhauled at 100k New inner and outer tie rods at 116k New upper control arms (complete arm with ball joint) and PowerFlex urethane bushings (pressed into new arms) at 116k Brakes all around (EBC "Red Stuff" pads and OEM rotors)/ painted calipers black with S8 retaining clips/ brake fluid flush to Ate Super Blue (gold) at 116k Alignment at 116k Power steering fluid flush at 120k Brand new D4 A7/ A8 Sport 20" wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 tires less than 1000 miles ago (not a mark on them) 6 disc CD changer and Audi Music Interface (AMI) installed in glovebox Front bumper has been repainted (valet scraped it on a curb) and front reflectors were painted over Car has been tastefully and modestly lowered via software (VCDS procedure) Window trim has been professionally wrapped in matte black vinyl, however, the "C" pillars will need to be re-done. Don will warranty this for anyone on the coast of CA, otherwise any good vinyl shop can repair this, or you can simply remove the whole thing and have the factory chrome. Entire car has been wet sanded (2500) and polished Car really is in fantastic shape, and I get asked on a regular basis (from people who don't know Audi's) "is that a 2013? How do you like it?" Notes: Slight rock chipping around front of car (much less than you'd expect on a car at this mileage) Front bumper has very minor damage at the edge where it meets the front fender on the driver side (looks like it's from a pry tool)- guessing this was caused when they pulled the bumper for the timing belt service (see pic below). Rear bumper has very slight scratches at the radius on the driver ride where someone backed into the car in a parking lot. 95% buffed out, but it's just barely noticeable now (see pic below). Light scratch on front fender on passenger side, just behind the bumper. Was there when I bought the car, and I didn't want to do any paintwork to get it out. Original windshield, and ideally it's probably time for new glass (slight pitting/ chips) Interior is in fantastic condition. Leather shows very minimal wear. Wood looks nearly new most places. Suede headliner is flawless. |

2015 Audi TT picks up the style, pace with Xcar
Mon, 03 Nov 2014With the original TT, Audi arguably valued style over substance. The equation reversed - at least to an extent - with the second-generation model. But with this latest MkIII version, the German automaker appears to have finally imbued its compact sports car with the performance to back up its runway looks.
That is, at least, what the team at Xcar has to say, having driven the latest Audi sports coupe on the rainy roads of Scotland - taking in its crisp lines, sharp handling, nippy performance and impressive technology along the way. But don't let us spoil it for you: Watch for yourself to see how the new TT measures up against its stylish forebears.
Audi sends off second-gen TT with a few enhancements
Sun, 23 Mar 2014The Audi stand at the Geneva Motor Show this year was the focus of a lot of attention with the reveal of the all-new TT, ushering in the third generation of the stylish sports coupe and roadster. But before the second-gen model gets the old heave-ho, Audi is giving it a few enhancements to send it out on a high note.
Stylistically, the 2015 Audi TT and TTS, both coupe and convertible, get a new single-frame grille and LED daytime running lights to make it better match its stablemates. The interior gets some upgraded equipment as well, but enthusiasts will be more intrigued by the optional Competition Package available on the TTS.
Like the package Audi rolled out to celebrate the 500,000th TT made, the new TTS Competition Package gets a fixed rear spoiler, five-spoke alloys, baseball-stitched leather seats with contrasting stitching and a choice of yellow or gray paints for the exterior.
Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept takes the next-gen to the extreme
Tue, 04 Mar 2014There's little doubt that the new Audi TTS and its 310-horsepower, 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder will be very quick when released to the general public. As a means of reminding us that Audi can do much more with the little TT, though, the German manufacturer has presented this, the TT Quattro Sport Concept, alongside its litter of new sports cars.
Complete with a 420-horsepower, 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine - yes, it really puts out 210 horsepower per liter - the TT Quattro Sport can snap to 62 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds. 331 pound-feet of torque is also on offer, meaning this one-off TT outguns the TTS by 110 horsepower and 51 pound-feet of torque.
An S-Tronic transmission shuffles the power about, while the car itself rides on a lowered and stiffened suspension. 20-inch alloys are featured with centrally locking, racing-style hubs. Those racy wheels are housed in wells that have had their arches stretched an additional 1.18 inches, which, along with the lowered suspension, contribute to the TT's aggressive looks.
