Up for sale is a 2003 Audi A6 Quattro V6 with 199K Miles. Drives GREAT!
This was previous bought by a dealership in Nashville, TN and passed the Point Inspection Test. Can give you phone number for confirmation. CONS: RD side and FP side windows need these clips to fully function properly (I have them being shipped to me right now, I'm leaving it up to the buyer to install - YouTube hosts a 9 minute video on how to do it; I'm not "mechanically inclined" so to speak; so I wish not to possibly ruin anything). Needs alignment. Needs o2 sensor (60$ on ebay). PROS: This car is fully equipped with functioning sunroof, BRAND NEW tires, powered seats, powered windows, exterior paint is in good condition (some scratches and blemishes), door handle lights, floor lights under seats for rear passengers, cruise control, head visor lights when mirror is opened, great transmission and motor for the miles, duel A/C and heat, cup holders for rear passengers, vents for rear passengers, 6 CD changer, large trunk for cargo, and great visibility during night with headlights. List goes on and on.. New timing belt kit installed less than 3000 miles ago. Oil change less than 200 miles ago. Alternator has been changed, miles are unknown. I would put this vehicle in "good" condition as far as KBB goes and it lists just under $5,000. With about $400 worth of work, this car's condition increases, as well as the price. I'm accepting OBO's, but no low balls. I'm in no hurry to get rid of this car as it is a great vehicle. Trade in's are accepted - no models later than 1999 (except for Toyota and Lexus), no bikes, no guns, furniture, etc. etc. Cell - Text or call 904 - three 2 seven - 3 one 4 one Thank you for your time, Daniel G. |

Audi S3 Cabriolet is a topless two-door temptress
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Now that we've driven the Audi S3, we're pretty eager for it go on sale in the United States. And while we won't get the Sportback version, there's a teeny tiny chance that Audi may grace us with this new Cabriolet version that makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
That certainly wouldn't be a shame, considering the topless S3 packs the same 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque as the sedan, all of which comes from a turbocharged, 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine. That folding roof mechanism adds a bit of weight to the S3 package, and thus, reaching that ever-so-special 62 miles per hour takes an extra half a second - 5.4 compared to 4.9 with the S3 sedan.
Looks-wise, we dig the aggressive little S3, though the chrome wheels of the show car are kind of throwing us off. Swap out a set of standard alloys, and we'll be good to go. Have a look in the gallery above to see the topless Audi for yourself.
Audi testing long-tail version of R18 e-tron quattro for Le Mans
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Race teams are always looking for ways to shave hundredths of seconds of their lap times. Case in point: Audi is making some slight changes to its prototype racecar to make it ever so much more slippery as it cuts through the air.
Debuting at the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship at Spa on May 4, Audi will be testing a long-tail version of its R18 E-tron Quattro racecar. As its name suggests, the long-tail car gets a lengthened rear section with the goal of improving aerodynamics. The long-tail will be run alongside the standard version of the racecar as a testbed for possible changes that might be in store, heading into the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Audi did not say how many inches were added to the racecar, but as you can see in the image above, "long-tail" definitely doesn't take on the same meaning of classic long-tail cars of the past such as the Porsche 917. More information about the car, Audi's team and even some info about the track itself can be found below.
Woman wins Audi R8 Spyder on The Price Is Right, goes bananas
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Of course, we love to tune into The Price Is Right to see average Americans spin the big wheel, play a round of Plinko or Cliff Hangers, and participate in the gladiatorial Showcase Showdown. But there is one reason, and one reason alone that the daytime game show has captivated us since its inception in 1972... 'A new car!!!'
Back in November, the show held a Dream Car Week that saw contestants get the chance to win whips like a Porsche 911 and a BMW 6 Series, amongst others. It must have been pretty successful, as the PIR team is back at it, this time giving away an Audi R8 Spyder with a sticker price of $157,300. That makes it the single most-expensive item given away in the show's history.
The R8's new owner, Sheree Heil, may not fit the image of a typical R8 driver - we anticipate she'll learn which side of the car to drive on after the show is over - but she is clearly tickled pink with her big win. Check out the insanity below.
