2001 Audi A6 Avant on 2040-cars
Mims, Florida, United States
2001 Audi A6 Quattro Avant with 138,000 miles. The car is in good shape with some scratches and slight ding or two. The timing belt, plugs, wires, gaskets, seals, and tires all have been replace in Sept 2013 (less than 2,000 miles ago). The work was done by an Audi mechanic and all parts were manufacturer recommended OEM parts. The interior has some wear but there are not rips or tears in the leather or headliner. The car also comes with Audi rubber floor mats.
We are moving to a big city and will only need one car or else we would keep it. The Audi is a great car and hate to part with it. There are some minor issues I have listed in the condition description. Feel free to ask any questions about the car or to request a video tour of the vehicle. |

2014 Audi R8 officially on sale, starting at $114,900*
Fri, 12 Apr 2013After skipping the 2013 model year, the Audi R8 is back for 2014 with a new look, added performance and a slightly higher starting price. In V8 coupe form, the 2014 R8 starts at $114,900 (*not including $1,250 for destination and a $3,000 gas-guzzler tax), but looking at that price, which has risen just $5,900 since the performance coupe first debuted in the US for 2008, inflation doesn't seem to have hit the R8 as hard as some other sports coupes - like, say, the Nissan GT-R.
Opting for the S tronic automatic gearbox will cost $9,100 for all models, while R8 V8 and R8 V10 models still offer the drop-top Spyder model for an extra $13,500. Not available in Spyder form, is the all-new 550-horsepower R8 V10 Plus, which starts at $170,545. Scroll down for the full pricing breakdown of the 2014 R8, which went on sale yesterday.
Audi RS6 driven by former Stig Ben Collins egged on in 'The Duel'
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Apparently driving a 553-horsepower Audi RS6 Avant with carbon-fiber egg launchers that shoot paint-filled eggs is what Stigs do when they retire from Top Gear. And unfortunately for stuntman Damien Walters, he happens to be the target.
Walters - on foot with his paint-eggs and no carbon-fiber launcher - couldn't possibly escape from the Audi, let alone launch his own offensive, could he? You'll have to find out in the video below. And while we won't give away what happens, we'll say this video will definitely put a smile on your face, if you like all-wheel-drive drifting (which you should). We also included a couple more videos for your enjoyment, one of which takes you behind the scenes of The Duel.
Audi A6 gets styling, powertrain tweaks
Thu, 04 Sep 2014The Audi A6 is already a fairly handsome, German luxury sedan, but the whole range is receiving some styling updates in Europe this fall. Audi's US arm would not directly confirm which of these updates will be coming to America, instead just telling us that an updated A6 will be coming next year.
On the outside, the tweaks are fairly minor. The company's single-frame grille, which shows up throughout the model lineup, gets some very subtle styling changes, and the lower bumper and its air intakes are also reshaped. More obviously, the headlights have a new form with the LED running lights cutting through them in roughly the shape of a T, as opposed to outlining them, as before. A similar shape is also used for the updated taillights, and there are now rectangular exhaust outlets around back, as well. In profile, the side sills also get a harder crease toward the rear of the sedan.
Inside, things are kept generally the same, as well. There's a new Flint Gray interior color for the A6 and Salsa Red for the S6. But the biggest change is a power-retracting eight-inch infotainment system using the Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. The optional night vision assist system is also improved with new functions, according to Audi.
