2007 Audi A4 Quattro Base Sedan 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
This is a bank repo that is being sold as-is
We will describe it to the best of our knowledge Currently the vehicle is not driving. The engine is perfect, it will start up and runs very smooth and revs just fine without any issues. When you put this vehicle in gear, the clutch presses firmly, but the car will not move in any gear. We are not sure what exactly is the problem, but this would be an excellent fixer upper for the general mechanic, someone who wants to get a great deal on this car, or someone who wants to buy this to resell it. Three tires are in excellent shape, the front driver tire is very low. There are dings on the driver fender, and on the trunk. A/C is ice cold, heater is warm, the factory xenons work flawlessly. This could be a simple fix or something major, we arent sure, but this is being sold no reserve so the highest bidder wins. This car with the mileage that it has currently is worth a book value of 15,000 dollars. We are selling this local, and we have the right to end this sale at any time. If there are any questions with this vehicle please give us a call at 813-335-3794 or 813-458-0584 WE ARE A LICENSED FLORIDA DEALER AND ALL TRANSACTIONS WILL INCUR SALES TAX NO MATTER THE STATE THAT YOU LIVE IN THIS IS IF YOU TAKE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE. BMW says SUVs killed the sports car market
Thu, 13 Nov 2014In many ways, we're living in a golden age of automotive performance. After all, it's possible to show up at a Dodge dealer, hand over about $60,000 and storm away with a 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat. Or for those who prefer a touch more luxury, the BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C63 and latest Cadillac ATS-V offer between 425 and 503 horsepower, depending on your pick, with a bit more poshness. However, none of these powerful vehicles fit the classic definition of a two-place, droptop sports car, and according BMW head of sales Ian Robertson, that's because the segment is very much in the doldrums.
According to Robertson, two factors seriously wounded the classic sports car market. First, the global economic crisis of a few years ago put a serious hurt on sales, according to Bloomberg. Further worsening the situation, the boom in popularity of luxury SUVs and crossovers in the past few years hasn't allowed for much recovery. Even car-hungry China hasn't helped much because of the smog in many cities and preference among some of the very rich there to be chauffeured.
Combined, Audi TT, BMW Z4 and Mercedes-Benz SLK sales peaked around 114,000 units a year in 2007, but they are only expected to reach 72,000 annually by the end of the decade. Robertson is pretty pessimistic about the market's comeback too. "Post-2008, it just collapsed. I'm not so sure it'll ever fully recover," he said to Bloomberg.
Audi R8 V10 Plus vs. Renault Clio Cup racecar will make you go hmmm...
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Match up a hot hatch with a supercar of the same vintage, and we'll tell you who will win every time. It's easy, really, as the supercar invariably features a more advanced suspension, stickier tires and most importantly, more power. What if the hot hatch is race prepped, though?
In that particular case, all bets are off. A circuit-tuned suspension, a stripped-down cabin, an ultra-quick sequential transmission and the greatest equalizer of them all, slick tires, are all that's needed to turn the typical hot hatch into a proper dragon slayer.
Perhaps seeking to prove this, Evo has put together an interesting head-to-head between the Audi R8 V10 and a race-prepared Renault Clio Cup. Host Dickie Meaden takes us through each car, highlighting the bits and bobs on both sides which should make this a tight competition. And boy, is this one tight.
Audi chooses A3 as its Super Bowl darling
Wed, 18 Dec 2013With Super Bowl XLVIII less than two months away, we're sure to hear plenty of news about automakers and their various plans for in-game commercials. Audi has announced that it will return for its seventh year of Super Bowl advertising, but few details were provided about the spot other than the fact that it will focus on the all-new 2015 A3.
The 60-second ad will air during the third quarter of the game, and while Audi did not say how much it is spending on the spot, Ad Age says that a 30-second commercial will average around $4 million for next year's Big Game. Last year, Audi's choose-your-own-adventure "Prom" commercial was the second favorite video in our unofficial poll of readers, but the competition should heat up even more this year with General Motors returning to Super Bowl advertising after taking a year off and Jaguar preparing its first-ever Super Bowl ad to introduce the F-Type Coupe.
