FOR SALE I HAVE A 2000 AUDI A4 2.8 QUATTRO (AWD). WAS TRADED IN BY ORIGINAL OWNER WITH ONLY 187,000KM. NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT. OWNED BY A DENTIST FROM BRAND NEW. PRIMARILY DRIVEN BY HIS WIFE. I WAS TOLD TIMING BELT /WATER WAS REPLACED 2 YEARS AGO.
I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS CAR DAYLY NOW FOR THE PAST WEEK. I CAN ONLY SAY ITS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE IT. FAST, CLEAN AND IT SHOWS REALY GOOD FOR THE YEAR. NO RUST ON THE BODY OR ANY OIL LEAKS UNDER THE CAR. I HAVE REPLACED ONE OF THE REAR BEARINGS AND PCV HOSES. THE ONLY THING THAT IT MIGHT NEED IN THE NEAR FUTURE IS AN UPPER DRIVERS SIDE CONTROL ARM. FEELS FINE WHEN YOU DRIVE ,JUST MAKES A BIT NOISE OVER BIG SPEED-BUMPS. E-TEST IS VALID UNTIL AUG/2014. Next-gen Audi Q7 to debut in Detroit
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Audi's public relations team must really be getting fed up with research and design boss Ulrich Hackenberg. Aside from basically confirming that the next Audi R8 will share its bones with the Lamborghini Huracán and noting that it may take advantage of the Asterion Concept's hybrid powertrain technology, he's now let slip that the second-generation Q7 will arrive in January at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
"If you make a trip to Detroit, you'll see it," Hackenberg reportedly told Indian Autos Blog during Paris Motor Show festivities.
That's a bombshell, particularly as we've heard plenty about its potential powertrain technologies, including spy shots of diesel-powered models, plug-in-hybrids, sporty SQ7s and electric turbochargers, but there's been absolutely nothing concrete about when and where the car would debut.
2014 Audi A3 Sedan makes its world debut in NYC
Tue, 26 Mar 2013Audi is bringing some excitement to this year's New York Auto Show, showing off a 2014 A3 Sedan that will shortly be vying for attention in the luxury market's newly hot compact segment. The newly minted A3 faces immediate challenge from box-fresh small premium sedans like the Mercedes-Benz CLA and the Acura ILX, as well as players like the Buick Verano and the Lexus CT200h.
Of course, the German automaker will be the first to tell you that this new A3 is more than up to the challenge. Audi's typically high-level of design is in effect here, with sheet metal that is attractive without looking like a clone of the larger A4. The A3 will have the option of full LED headlamps, of course, carrying on Audi's now famous positioning in the world of recognizable lighting. Wheels will range from 16-inches to 18-inches, we're told, which will also help to cement the sporty look and premium placement of the small sedan.
The A3 Sedan will be vying for attention in the luxury market's newly hot compact segment.
VW says it has sold over 100,000 TDI diesels in America this year
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Volkswagen Group of America has lit oil-burning fireworks to celebrate the sales of more than 100,000 TDI Clean Diesel vehicles in the US between its VW and Audi brands this year. According to VW, that means it is responsible for more than 75 percent of diesel-engined cars and SUVs sold here - perhaps not surprising when the two brands offer a total of 12 diesel models.
What might be surprising is that the number of diesels isn't far off the estimated sales of 90,000 battery electric vehicles and PHEVs, with 15,000 of those accounted for by the Tesla Model S, another 12,000 or so being the Toyota Prius PHEV.
VW's keen to play up the ease of making diesel part of your life, stressing that it doesn't need any change to the refueling infrastructure and that "this is a technology delivering real answers to society's concerns about fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions without compromises."
