This Aston Martin Vantage V-8 Coupe is a car lover's dream. In beautiful mechanical and cosmetic order. It's lines are perfect and it's performance is compelling. I have personally always driven a world class car and I have never had more joy, heads turned and compliments than in the years I have enjoyed this car. This is the most extraordinary combination of exterior and interior colors and it's performance leaves nothing to want for. The only details to point out are a small rub mark shown in the rear hatch photo and several wheel scrapes from parallel parking moments curbside. Other than these unremarkable visual blemishes this car is untouched. The depreciation value on this year and model keeps it in extraordinary value. Overnight action from the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Sat, 15 Sep 2012Bentley went to the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the main sponsor and showed off six of its best among the gathering of "60 of the finest motor cars in the world," including the 4¼-liter Bentley 'Embiricos' Special built for a Greek shipping magnate and gentleman racer in the 1930s.
Even better, for us at least, is that when Bentley decided to capture the moment it took pictures of most of the metal on the lawn, not just the Bentleys. Aston Martin signs Letter of Intent for technical partnership with AMG
Thu, 25 Jul 2013A little over two months ago came reports that Daimler and Aston Martin were in talks, again, about "supply and technical-cooperation agreements." The next step has been taken with Aston Martin announcing that it has signed a Letter of Intent that looks "towards a technical partnership" with Mercedes-AMG GmbH, and the two companies aiming to have definitive agreements done by year's end.
While it will get to use certain electric and electronic components from AMG, the true golden egg for the maker of the Vanquish will be the ability to develop a new line of "bespoke V8 powertrains" that will be fitted to "a new generation of models." In return for opening up the larder, Daimler will get a non-voting stake of up to five percent of Aston Martin.
Nothing else is being said about the tie-up for the moment, but there's a press release below with a few more details.
