The car comes with Spare Tire, jack, handle, wheel wrench, owners manuals, 2 original keys. Orig AM/FM Cass Stereo, with original speakers sounds great with electric antenna! The engine runs perfect! Very fast Car, but I have babied it. These engines are capable of running very high miles over 400k. I have been driving Alfa V6 engines for 20 years. This is not a show car or in mint condition, but is a 23 year old original body and paint daily drive car. I believe this engine can run more than 300k miles easily. Misc items that could be repaired include: Tires getting very worn down, front shocks, left front fog light bulb, cruise control (maybe a rely) head light washers, Seat Heaters (maybe a rely) Could use the roof and truck repainted but I wanted to keep the car original paint so opted to leave as is. No dents/dings, no rust, mostly kept in garage for more than half its life. Right Rear Hub cap missing, Hood and trunk struts worn out, (wooden support sticks included) Great Car! I am moving over sea's and can not import it to the Country I am going to. PLease ask any questions you like, I have 90 pics of this car just taken March 18th, 2014. Located in San Diego, Ca USA. This is a great Car and I am very proud of it. Mazda and Fiat finalize deal for Alfa roadster, next-gen MX-5 Miata
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Although a little bit later than expected, Mazda and Fiat have signed a final agreement that will bring a next-generation MX-5 Miata to the Japanese automaker and a new roadster to Alfa Romeo. When the proposed arrangement was announced back in May, the two automakers had hoped to seal the deal last year, but it doesn't appear that the production timeline for these cars has slipped any, with both expected to start rolling off assembly lines in 2015.
Other than a shared chassis with a rear-wheel-drive layout, it sounds like the two cars are still planned to be distinct in their own ways from their styling right down to their engines. Mazda will produce both cars at a plant in Hiroshima, Japan, but it isn't clear what role each automaker will play in the cars' developmental process. The big question, of course, is what clever portmanteau name we can come up with, like Toyobaru. Mazda Romeo is the easy choice, but Alfazda might roll off the tongue a little better.
Scroll down for a brief press release from both automakers.
Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Alfa giveth and Alfa taketh away. With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
Leno samples Corvette Z06, steam cars, supercars and the wonders of Pebble Beach
Fri, 12 Sep 2014While Jay Leno's Garage was conceived to highlight the wonders of The Big Chin's eponymous storage facility, Leno does occasionally get out an into the larger world. Pebble Beach and the festivities around Monterey recently provided a great excuse for a road trip, and Leno seemingly had a pretty full dance card.
In an episode aptly dubbed The Ultimate Car Week, our host takes us through a pretty representative selection of great things to see in and around Pebble. Starting with a ride-along in a steam car, Jay manages to check in on the latest McLaren supercar and drive the Alfa Romeo 4C along the way. Oh, and he takes a good look at the all-new Corvette Z06 (next to the original Z06) before hitting the Concourse d'Elegance, too.
