Rare 1992 Acura Integra 1.7l Vtech Gs-r 3 Door Hatchback In Aztec Green on 2040-cars
New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, United States
Rare 1992 Acura Integra 1.7L VTech GS-R 3 door Hatchback in Aztec Green This rare car was used mainly as a daily driver to commute to distant clients. The car has 314,250 miles on it, but the engine was rebuilt at 280,000 or 34,250 miles ago. It has a clean engine bay, very clean interior, a Philips high end stereo system with a integrated floor Sub, 10 disc CD Changer and a Butler tube amplifier as shown in the pics. The engine runs strong and smooth and has been serviced religiously every 3000k miles. The clutch and transmission shift smoothly into all the gears. It is drivable but it is not inspected, it will need at least new tires, shocks, pads and likely rotors. I also noticed a torn CV boot on the drivers side. This car can easily be a project car and restored to factory as it is pretty much bone stock except for the professionally installed stereo system. It can also be a parts car if your looking for that 1.7 VTech or other hard to find Integra parts. Includes the original owners manual I have included many pics and also a video to show you that it starts with no problem. The buyer is responsible for pickup or delivery services as well as any taxes and transfer fees. Please ask if you have any questions before bidding.

2014 Acura MDX ad campaign the most expensive in brand's history
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Realizing that it must spend more marketing dollars to compete with the more established luxury automakers, Acura is preparing to launch its most expensive ad campaign ever for its redesigned 2014 MDX. At $78 million, according to Advertising Age, the new "Made for Mankind" campaign that kicks off next month is exactly double what Acura spent on the 2013 RDX launch last year. It's also the brand's first cooperation with its new agency, Boston- and Los-Angeles-based Mullen Advertising. Thanks to its bigger budget, we'll be seeing ads for the MDX pop up just about everywhere from television commercials, cinemas and billboards to videos focused on computers and mobile devices.
The first such video is entitled "Human Race," and it enunciates Acura's recent tagline highlight, the synergy between man and machine. More interestingly, the 2014 MDX, which went on sale this month, doesn't make an appearance in the 60-second spot until close to the end. This video is posted below as well as a press release from Acura along with images of various ads we should start soon.
2015 Acura TLX configurator ready to spec your 'red carpet athlete'
Wed, 06 Aug 2014When Acura launched the new TLX sedan as a prototype at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show it promised that the car would be a "red carpet athlete." Presumably that meant it would mix photogenic looks with an engaging drive. Now, it's your chance to dress up the vehicle for the festivities with its new configurator that's just hitting the Web.
Prices start at $30,995* for the basic 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 206 horsepower and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic or $35,220 for the least expensive 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp with a nine-speed auto, but the bill goes all the way up to $44,700 for a V6 with all-wheel drive and the Advance Package (*plus a $895 destination and handling charge for them). Only the six-cylinder can be optioned with all-wheel drive, but all front-wheel-drive models get Acura's slick P-AWS system that steers the rear wheels.
Outside of the available Technology and Advance packages, the options are kept pretty slim. The range of colors is fairly subdued too with shades of black, white and silver, plus dark blue, dark red and a deep brown called Black Copper Pearl. Upholstery options are limited to a few choices for each exterior color.
Honda marks 20 million vehicles made in the USA
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Japanese automakers manufacturing in the United States is nothing new. But it was in November of 1982 when the first Honda Accord rolled off the assembly line in Marysville, OH. It was the first Japanese vehicle assembled in the US, and in the nearly 32 years since, Honda has made 10 million Accords here for a total of 20 million cars manufactured in America - enough to span from New York to San Francisco twenty times. It's that double landmark which Honda is now celebrating.
Honda has come a long way in those three decades, keeping that original plant in Marysville on line while expanding to three more - in East Liberty, OH; Lincoln, AL; and Greensburg, IN - with a fifth plant (the Performance Manufacturing Center) opening on the same site in Marysville to build the Acura NSX next year. It also builds engines in Lincoln and in Anna, OH, and automatic transmissions at Russells Point, OH, and Tallapoosa, GA.
Between those seven sites, Honda produces 11 different models, including the Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and Ridgeline as well as the Acura ILX, TL, RDX and MDX. Production keeps on ramping up as Honda produced a record 1.3 million vehicles in the US last year, 95 percent of which are sold in the US. Scope out the details in the press release below and click the image above to see it all laid out in a handy infographic.
